We went here and loved it.This Place is so unique, family run and full of locals we were lucky to have been recommended it.Great setting a farmhouse at the top of the hills, lovely friendly service and great food.We has to pre order the rabbit Ischia’s speciality...and it was great to try local cuisine.I loved the honesty of the owner who didn’t recommend the most expensive wine and advised us not to over order as portions were huge.Highly recommend this hidden gem.More

Sometimes you have an experience you know that you’ll never forget. That was our amazing lunch today. We felt truly welcomed and hosted by the gracious family who have run this restaurant for five generations. It wasn’t just the food that made this experience (though...the food was exceptional) it was the setting, the people and of course the food. We had antipasto which was beautiful and then of course the rabbit which lived up to and passed our expectations. Then we finished with lemon tart, creme brûlée, chocolate soufflé and panna cotta. We were lucky enough to have a tour of the tunnels and spend some time learning about the history of Ischia from the owner. If you are on Ischia this is an experience not to miss - grazie mille!More

A great meat feast. Riccardo and his family make you feel wonderful. All the food looks great.the antipasta is a meal in itself. The wine is reasonably priced too.

What a view! What a ride up the mountainside! What a rustic and incredible setting/decor in and around the restaurant! And the kitchen can be seen through an arched window in the restaurant. The antipasti is incredible and leaves you wanting more and more. The...speciality is rabbit and they are admittedly the best on the Island with this dish. The New York Times did not come here and do a story on them for no reson.More

The island speciality appears to be rabbit and this restaurant is said to have the best rabbit on the island. It is a crazy car ride to the top of a hill away from the hustle of the towns. They open at 8pm (as most...restaurants do in Ischia) if you arrive at 8 pm you will see 3 generations of the family finishing their dinner inside. The father and daughter run the front of house, the sons cook in the kitchen and the mother handles the bills. All of the seating is under a canopy outside, there is no english menu. The daughter comes over and asks you what you don't like. Then talks about the and strongly steers you towards a meal she thinks is right for you. She suggested we start with the special anti past which was really a little of every ant paste on their menu. They covered out table in food twice over. There was a cheese and truffle dish that appeared to be a cross between a flan and a souffle - it was wonderful. Eggplant, a small plate of fried foods, a risotto lemon cake, we easily sampled 10 -12 dishes and they were all fantastic. Then they moved on to a bowl of rabbit. the whole rabbit - this could easily feed a family of 4-6. My husband and son declared the rabbit delicious. The restaurant ONLY serves water and wine, and they are clearly making their own wine as giant wine barrels lined the dining room. In addition to the tables for the smaller parties there is 8-10 long family style tables - all reserved for large local families most of whom started to arrive around 9:30 pm. I would highly recommend trying this authentic family run restaurant of you are staying in Ischia.More

Great welcome given to us after we walked up the hill - it was steep ! The food was amazing and the chef Agostine produced outstanding dishes - including of course their signature rabbit which was delicious . Heavily frequented by locals and understandably so.... We treated to a visit to the wine cellar by the owner which made it even more special . Off the beaten track but well worth it .More

We were recommended this restaurant by a local for the delicious rabbit, unfortunately we were not brave enough to try but every we ate was delicious! The service incredible and the staff are so welcoming. The menu is in Italian, which we couldn’t understand, so...we stuck to the recommendations of the staff and were not disappointed. We were also treated to a tour of the cellar! Was an amazing night and cannot recommend enough!More

But before we knew it we are being served delicious food! It was a memorable experience! I doubt there is anything bad on the menu. If you can’t decide, they will do an excellent job choosing for you.
