Excellent service and food. We had chicken a la crem and a great dessert that lived up to the standards. Manolis offered us also free homemade raki. Overall a nice hidden gem from the mainstream restaurants. Will definitely return.

This place is out of the main stream. Its hidden in the narrow streets of the old market I didn't have traditionally Greek food for ages The way it originally was. MANOLIS offers this in times where real greek food is hard to find. Definitely worth a visit. I had the brim and my partner had the beef casserole. Both... More

The food was good, honest and plentiful; the setting delightful; the staff charming, and the prices very reasonable. What more could you wish for?

By far the best dish on the menu is the homemade moussaka. This place has a great traditional feel to it. Lovely garden, hospitable staff and tucked away in a nice and quiet part of the old town. Not the easiest place to find but look hard enough and I assure you it'll be well worth your time. The staff... More

Lovely staff who served nice food in this hidden place in the old town. Our dinner was relaxant and the food (some starters and vegeterian mussaka) was absolutly on the average.

This gem of a restaurant is hidden in the streets of Old Town under a canopy of grapevines. I ordered the vegetarian moussaka, and it was superb! I was in Greece for two weeks and had vegetarian moussaka on multiple occasions, but this was far and away the best. My companion got a chicken dish, I am not sure which... More

Manolis taverna serves excellent traditional Greek cooking at very reasonable prices. The courtyard garden setting is peaceful, calm and full of overhanging vines. Service is excellent . I thoroughly recommend this place.

Walking through the old part of Naxos town we came across Manoli's restaurant. The setting under grape vines is delightful. Staff were very helpful and spoke English. We had the starters platter for two which had 6 dips, 2 cheese and 2 zucchini croquettes, 2 meat balls, feta, tomato slices and olives. Delicious. For our main meal we had chicken... More

I have been coming to Naxos for almost 40 years, since Manoli and I were much younger. All those years ago, there was no garden (I think it is a deconsecrated church yard, but I may be wrong) just tables alongside the path. Over the years the menu has expanded, now having a good vegetarian section, whilst traditional Greek dishes... More

Hidden away in the Old Market area of Naxos town we came upon this great taverna. Menu was excellent as was the service by a delightful young waitress who spoke good English. The bill came to €49 for 4 persons including beers and wine. Setting was in a lovely courtyard. Make the effort to find this place, you will not... More
