A very busy restaurant with a quite nice atmosphere but the service was mediocre and we were served industrial fries with no taste at all. I asked for ketchup and got to keep it max 2 minutes before it was taken away to a new...customer. A bottle for appr 1 Euro ;) My burger was overcooked and it is obvious that staff has not a lot of experience The table was not attached to its feet and moved a lot. Very annoying It was not totally bad but there are better.More

With 3 teenagers, 2 adults and Granma its hard to please everyone, but La Tasca found us a last minute table and everything was perfect, the food was great and the service was very good and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them and...everything was very reasonably priced, I cant wait for me next visit.More

We had a reservation. There was a misunderstanding and the hostess was clearly unhappy with this. We eventually received a table somewhere in the back but it was clear we were not welcome anymore. We waited for 20 min. but it became clear they had...no intention of serving us when people who arrived after us received service immediately. We left.More

This place had a decent atmosphere and the portions filled the plates but though the food was plentiful i did expect it to be a bit more special for french and for the price but for the area it is a step in the right...direction.More

We were only in Luz-St-Sauveur for three nights and we had our evening meal at this restaurant for two of those nights because we liked it so much.

I was recommended the terrace for a happy hour beer and it was really very nice. But then we had dinner and the service was average and the food rather ordinary. A bit disappointing really.

We arrived before the kitchen opened, but the lovely lady at the bar seated us anyway and served our drinks while we looked at the menu. The service and food were both excellent and the place had such a great atmosphere - it had a...real family feel to it. I would highly recommend.More

Had a great dinner here, really friendly waitress who spoke perfect English. I loved the veggie tarteflette and my husband had the Pyrenean trout. Lovely puddings too! Just got a little smokey from the raclette cookers a bit later on!

We went here twice on our week long cycling trip. The atmosphere was inviting with an acoustic band playing on the patio and a friendly team helping from the owners to the server. They were very accommodating and we even came once with a large...group of 19. The food is great. Recommend the trout and chèvre salad.More

Ate here twice during a weeks holiday, good food and service both times. Husband loved the steak, apple crumble a great desert after biking in the day. Sat outside. Suggest a reservation for ensuring you get a table.

Slightly off the beaten track although only a couple of minutes walk from the “centre” of town. Friendly, helpful staff give you a warm welcome. In addition to the normal range of drinks they have some good local craft beer on keg. Prices are very...wallet friendly. Nice terrace at the front which, despite looking onto a small car park, is a good spot to watch the world go by. Recommended.More

My wife and I have been here often just for drinks in the lovely atmosphere of this local place but we have also had a great evening meal, We were given a lovely table next to the garden at the back. We both love lamb...so had to have it and we were not disappointed. Nina produced a wonderful meal accompanied by some very nice house wine and we finished off with home made apple crumble and a chocolate fondant. I could have had the whole meal again. We so enjoyed it and the staff were just wonderful. I went back a few weeks later just for lunch and had one of the best burgers I have ever had. You could tell the meat was fresh and made to a Pattie on site and not just something frozen I think it should have been called the belly buster as it was so big but I just had to finish it as treats like this only come up once in while. Paul, Nina and there staff are wonderful hosts and whether you just want a drink or a meal give them a try Especially the local beer made in the village by Paul. My favourite is the cirque de Gavarnie but you find your own. If your in Luz give this place a try.More
