This restaurant is now probably the best in Prades. The menu is quite simple, although there is a great range of tapas. But it is beautifully prepared and cooked, served with a smile and is excellent value. Everything is freshly prepared - if you have...calamares romaine, they are fresh squid coated in a delicious home-made tempura batter. The house wine is exceedingly nice. We visit the area at least once a year. La Meridienne has become the one restaurant we will make a point of visiting; it is just so nice.More

Simply the best food we had in Prades. The menu is kept simple, with a choice of lovely, fresh tapas as well as other starters and mains and the offer of a daily special (three courses for €23). The food is cooked with care and...is uncomplicated, it allows the amazing flavours to shine. We went back here three times the food was so good. It's very well priced and the service is excellent. See you again!More

Friendly and quick service, with a varied menu, including an extra tapas menu. The food is great quality and at a reasonable price. We will definately be going back!

Who says the English can't cook? This little restaurant owned and managed by an English couple proves otherwise. 50 metres off the main town square this restaurant is well worth the deviation. Friendly atmosphere, varied menu, reasonably priced food which is well cooked and well...presented. It was my friend's birthday treat, she is Belgian, and she can be embarrassingly critical at times but not this time. She was delighted. Me tooMore

When booking this restaurant the vegetarian of our group was told by Kathy that a surprise dish would be prepared for her - she was not disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed both the starter and main courses. The rest of us chose from the menu -...great choice, cooked well, tasty and beautifully presented. Very reasonably priced too. All in all a very enjoyable evening.More

After our fourth visit this Summer just had to write a review! Attentive friendly service from Kathy front of house and delicious food beautifully presented from Chef David. This small cosy restaurant has a good range of dishes on their set menu and a la...carte, with daily lunchtime menu and occasional specials on fete days. Their "secret recipe" gazpacho is amazing! They also cater for vegetarians and have great deserts.. Highly recommended!More

This restaurant is a gem hiding in the centre of Prades. Attentive and friendly service. The menu is reasonably priced, original and very tasty. They do not offer a children’s option but went out of their way to ensure that the children were happy with...their choices. Will definitely be visiting here again.More

This is my 3rd review. During our holiday we return here and its good to see the reviews truly reflecting what Kathy and David do so well in this hidden away restaurant close to the Centre Square of Prades. Lovely food cooked perfectly with thought...combined with such friendly front of house attention.More

Good reviews on trip advisor, so thought we’d give this a try. Really glad we did. As others have said this restaurant really doesn’t look that much from the outside. It was reasonably full Friday at 8pm. Greeted by Kathy who was an attentive server....Got a table straight away. Ate off the set menu, muscles and Gazpacho were good starters. The Black Angus and goats cheese burger was excellent. Nice desert and coffee to finish. We visited again during our stay in Prades, less busy on Sunday evening, again excellent service. Scallops and Black pudding starter were excellent and the pork and chicken dishes good as well. Decent house red wine. Really good service and food. Well worth a visit. The restaurant is only small so worth getting there early to avoid disappointment, they also close early and were having to turn later arriving customers away.More

This really is a favourite restaurant and Kathy and David know what they are doing. Friendly and efficient service, excellent food and wine. What more could you ask for? My favourite dishes - Gazpacho and the scallops and black pudding are really tasty - together...with the pecan pie, but I can always find other dishes to ring the changes! Will be back in October.More
