We checked several restaurants and cafes in Terrasson and very few had anything at all for vegetarians. Here we had cheese or mushroom omelettes, and the dish of the day was a really nice feta and courgette quiche with salad (the pastry was superb). Dessert...was equally good. All our main courses were about 8-9 euros, where other restaurants that were serving anything vegetarian were charging at least 14 euros. The food was good, the people watching was great, and we were there in time to watch the sun go down over the river, and the lights come on across the town.More

A great coffee stop. We have never eaten there but feel sure it will be cheap and cheerful. Really iconic location on the banks of the Vézère.

Another fine example of someone who clearly doesn't enjoy his job and has no idea how to politely deal with customers. Avoid.

Went to this cafe looking for a bit of lunch the waiter could not have been ruder or more off hand if he tried. In the end we gave up trying to any sort of service and went to another cafe just around the corner...where the French lady could not have been more charming. Places like this with such appalling service in my opinion do not deserve any custom. Manners cost nothing!More

Good service at a reasonable price, if I was in the area and needed a stop on a hot day then I would go back!

The café has tables at the riverside that are perfect for relaxing and watching the river, road and people pass by. The river is tranquil and "people watching" is always good fun. The waiter skilfully dodges the traffic and serves at high velocity! Omelettes and...Bergerac rosé wine were perfect. Simple, straightforward and enjoyable.More

This is a simple bar cafe with tables across the road on the edge of the river, great for a drink or light snack. The snacks are typical cafe food, but well prepared and with good service. They are also good value.

Great tasting home-made food! Generous portions for a good price. According to my English husband the fruit tarts here are the best :) Owners are very professional and friendly.
