Wonderful dinner in a very cozy environment: elegant but with taste and without opulence. Food sophisticated but never distant from the tradition of the Ardennes. Highlight: Wild rabbit.

Overrated, felt like a bit of an industry. Obviously there to make business/money and not for the passion of it. We had lunch there and we were not impressed after hearing so much about the place.

I often read reviews on Tripadvisor before bokking a table. I shouldn't have trusted people that went there five years ago. Maybe the restaurant was a reference in the past, but it isn't anymore today. A glass of wine costs around 10€, for a middle class wine. The 60€ menu was good, but not "gastronomic" (I had way better exeperiences... More

The first room we looked at was shabby and worn. The carpets were filthy and the bedding was old and rumpled. It smelled like a place old men live. We wouldn't stay in it so we moved to a separate building. It was a little better. The shower has two heads and cold water came out of one and hot... More

Service was extremely slow and the food extremely rich. Portions were small except for the meat which was large and the centre of the dish. Lighting was dim making it difficult to see what was on the plate.

We took the "clin d'oeil" menu, accompagnied with wines (40 + 20 euro/person), where you could choose between 3 options by course. The quality, taste and freshness of the food was good but not for the asked price. In addition, we only got 2 glasses of wine for 20 euro extra ? Although the wine was excellent, seemed a little... We stayed here as a couple for 3 nights during a tour of the Ardennes. The hotel has a great feel to it, lots of corridors to varying rooms on different levels, great sun terraces and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean, the town is very quiet overnight so a great sleep was had. The views from the... More

Loved the two dinners and the Sunday brunch at this place! The chef is creative, uses good produce and the choice at the brunch in the lovely atmosphere is just great!

The hotel is located in the center of the smallest city in the world. It has a great name for gastronomic weekends. But For me that's from a long time ago. Dinner in the restaurant is not bad but you can't call it excellent. Be sure to have a room in the main hotel, we were in the auberge and... More

We went there with the family for a gastronomic weekend and were not disappointed. Although the restaurant fits a lot of people, the setting was very cosy. The dishes were well prepared and of excellent taste but a bit too traditional. Don't expect to discover he unknown. Although vegetarians are dealt with, it's not thé place for them. So a... More
