Traveling form Britain to Cologne we decided to stop in Belgium along the way and choose Durbuy a medieval village as our stop over. We booked room and dinner at Le Clos des Recollets and discovered the cuisine of a talented chef. Complex and diversified the dishes prepared by Frederic Bruneel are modern classics. The cheek of veal (slow cooked... More

Located in a beautifully restored old building in the old city, this place offers great food. Individual courses are not cheap, but taking the 3-course of 5-course diner is a good deal. If you are not a wine expert, you have the option of letting the wine master choose a wine for each course at a fixed price. Service is... More

We chose this restaurant based on existing tripadvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed! We reserved a table for a rather quiet Thursday evening and went full out by ordering the 5 course Gourmet menu with accompanying wines. We enjoyed every course in our dinner, and overall had a wonderful time.

What a find. My girlfriend and I had a great meal here. We went for the five course tasting menu with wine. All the food was carefully prepared, well balanced and delicious. My favourite was the crispy prawn. My girlfriend loved the lightly roasted salmon. The pace of service was relaxed and the portions all designed not to overload or... More

We had a lovely stay here. The hotel is a mix of modern and historic features and feels light and airy. We booked dinner the first night and had a lovely meal - the chef was happy to accommodate vegetarian requirements and all our food was delicious, especially pudding! The owner was very friendly and welcoming and free parking is... More

Very classic French style restaurant with good bit formal service. I liked the food and house wine so I was satisfied.

I have eaten here at least 5 times now, but I have decided that this was my last visit. Food is good, atmosphere and decor very nice. But service of the food...... Most visits up until the starter there is nothing wrong, but then the waiting for the main course starts. This can take up to 1,5 hours!!! That is... More
