Amazing edamame, delicious sushi and great chicken curry. Fantastic service and a great atmosphere too! Not the cheapest option in town but worth the splurge. Thanks guys!

The owner lived in Japan for many years before opening this restaurant. I had the cold ramen salad, which hit the spot in so many ways. The ramen was springy and al dente as it should be and the eggs were half boiled with runny centres as it should be. The chicken was a little salty, but I find that... More

Great Japanese food, best Gyoza I've had in a long time. Service was amazing and it's a beautiful space. If you need a sushi hit this is the spot.

We visited here about a week ago and have nothing but praise for the friendly staff and incredible food. There is a great choice of sushi and other Japanese dishes and good happy hour drinks deals. Would highly recommend!

Great food for the price, with an excellent vegetarian option. The appetizers and rolls we had were very tasty and the service was on point. A very friendly and kind staff. The location doesn't seem like much before entering but once inside you find a clean, and lively hidden jem.

My partner and I delighted our selves in Kanpai on our visit to Granada. The place has been beautifully designed; and the food, wonderfully created. We enjoy the service of whom's name I cannot recall at the moment--he was a man from the U.S. (I believe). He made us feel at ease, and attended to every vegan question we asked.... More

Considering the mediocre to bland sushi with almost Western prices i´ve sampled all over central america and Asia (not incl. Japan), this place is an absolute highlight. You won´t find any dishes for the price of a taco, but for fresh, creative and cohesive dishes with a laid-back atmosphere, happy-hour offers, central location and helpful (english-speaking) staff, you´ll find this... The sushi here is good quality and delicious, but expensive, not just by Granada standards. I ordered 2 rolls - spicy salmon and Philadelphia and each was $9-10. They were 8 pieces each but that's still high. I did go during happy hour so I was given a free shot of sake for each roll I ordered. I liked the... More

We came here twice, first for drinks but because we liked it so much we returned the next night (our last night in Granada) for dinner. The staff is lovely and so is the restaurant itself. It has a patio with a little arbor that is nicely decorated. The sushi is great and we also tried the Thai curry that... More

Really nice atmosphere. Owner very friendly, and native Japanese chef. Food is great and good value. Not a crowd of tourists, mostly ex-pats
