I had the fish burrito and wife had the sea bass. Both were wonderful. The vegetables with my wife's were done perfectly with a dusting of spices that made them outstanding. We also both had smoothies that left nothing to be desired. It was hot and nasty on the street but by the courtyard the breeze made it a lovely... More

Nectar is a great place to eat in Granada. I have been there on several occasions, most recently in March of 2016. The service is top notch. Good Wi-Fi signal. I enjoyed the yucca chips before the meal. All the entrees look good, but I have only ordered the Fish Tacos. They are excellent. I cannot wait to go back... More

Excellent service from the staff. Good value food and we particularly enjoyed the Macua cocktail! The chicken burrito was good too!

Decent food, a little more than other nearby restaurants. Have English menus and service was very good when I ate there. Interestingly, wifi password was "tipyourserver"....

Went for happy hour and stayed for dinner. Drinks were very good and very reasonably priced. Dinner was nothing special. Appeared that there was only one waiter working so service was less than stellar.

My wife and I stopped in for the fish tacos and left fully satisfied! It was unassuming as it wasn't packed on a Thursday night but we tried it and loved it. She got the fish tacos and loved them. I got Jalapeño cream chicken and went nuts over it. It was so good when I got back to the... More

The restaurant was very busy with a great atmosohere on the main street. There was only one waiter who seemed overworked but was extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. We ordered fajitas and a burrito. The food was lukewarm and tasted fine, but was nothing to rave about.

A must visit. Time and effort - not expensive for the common traveler! Very delicious. Winston and the Owners are great!!! Try Bocadillos as well ;)

This restaurant has the best food on the restaurant strip. The ceviche is amazing, the sandwiches are wonderful too. I ate at this restaurant every day because it had great variety and I knew it would taste great. They also make some fabulous specialty mojitos. Try the mango mojitos, you won't regret it. Also the deserts are fabulous.

Nectar Restaurant & Bar is located on Calle La Calzada, a pedestrian-friendly street in the heart of Granada's historic colonial downtown. Located only 1/2 block East (towards the Lake) of Parque Central & the main Cathedral, our street-side dining offers up the best people watching around while our beautiful covered courtyard provides some peaceful respite from Granada's hustle and bustle. We've got you covered for whatever mood your in. We delight in offering a menu featuring some traditional Nicaraguan fare (Enchiladas, Tostones con Queso, Ropa Vieja and more), wonderful organic salads, tasty ceviche, fish tacos, burritos & homemade desserts, including Cheesecake, Flan de Coco and our world famous Lava Cake. ALL of our rum cocktails are made with Nicaraguan Flor de Cana rum, never the cheap stuff. We also offer up some local Craft Beer, made available by our friends at La Portena in San Juan Del Sur as well as Campo Brew Co. out of Tola. We source all our products locally and shop daily to ensure we have the freshest of the fresh. And perhaps most importantly, our staff is the real thing-- warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Hard-working Nicaraguan hospitality at its very best! Be sure to check out our 2x1 Happy Hour from 3-6 Daily or stop by and enjoy our below zero beer. Perfect for those hot Granada days!
