So, for just over $100, some of us having chosen the least expensive options, six of us (4 adults and two children) had a variety of good choices from tortilla soup, to filet of fish to steak. Setting was ok, but it felt a bit...cramped to me. Most of our group really liked this restaurant. Service was fine, not overwhelming but ok. Those who chose the steak really liked it, but it was pricey. It wasn’t a bad choice, but it didn’t rate a return in my mind.More

We chose to go there for dinner for my 45th birthday last Friday, and this place lived up to its expectations! Our server Moises, as well as the bartenders Kevin and Armando were all super attentive and very friendly! We opted to share the ceviche...as the appetizer, and it was so fresh and delicious! For the main course, my wife had the Churasco steak, which was perfectly cooked, and so flavorful! I went with the Filet Mignon, which was very tender! Overall, this place is a must do while in Grenada. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very chill, but classy, and the service staff went above and beyond at every turn! I highly recommend going there for a meal while in this quaint city!More

I don't even normally write reviews but this place has hit rock bottom. Years ago when I would go it was great. Now it's unacceptable. Clueless waitress mediocre steaks cooked incorrectly frozen vegetable medley lame 1 piece of potato for an overpriced plate. Just a...real letdown Never going back.More

Its a steak place! The fish underwhelms; the steak is generally spot on target! The margaritas were the best in town the 1st time, but not so great 2 weeks later.

OK, so I really enjoy a good steak. And the churrasco here is so good we ate there twice on a 3 day trip! Nice quiet section in the back of the restaurant for an enjoyable meal.

Great staff. COVID alert. The food was excellent and as well usual I tasted Mary’s fish and fell in love with it but only after I finished my steak.

We were recommended to come here for steak and it did not disappoint. We ordered the steak with rice and beans and the salmon. Both dishes were delicious. Probably one of the better steaks that I’ve had in a long time and I’ve eaten at...some pretty good steak restaurants in London and North AmericaMore

El Zaguan is one of our favourite restaurants in Granada. They often do special promotions. We had one of their specials which included steak, rice, grilled vegetables and an amazing mango salad. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We ordered via Facebook and they...were very responsive and helpful. They offer delivery for 20 cordobas extra and they accept credit cards at no extra charge.More

Our local friend recommended this place and he was correct in doing so. The inside has indoor/outdoor seating and a pleasant tropical vibe in the middle of the city. Clearly, they specialize in meat as you pass the grill master on your way to the...table. We came mid day, so decided to get a few appetizers before sharing a larger meat dish. We never got around to the meat dish as the appetizers were filling enough. We had to try the vigoron - our first time- and it was really good, with interesting texture and tastes. A really cool and refreshing salad-ish dish. We also had the Tostones con Queso y Frijoles because of course everyone needs this staple in their diet, and the chorizo El Zaguan. After all of this, there was no room for the steak. Maybe next time. Service was excellent, food quality excellent, and the prices were fair. They take credit cards.More

We had they delicious steak cooked to perfection and a huge salad topped with about 10 shrimp. We had a wonderful bottle of Carmenere red wine and then another glass of wine for dessert and the entire meal was $50 for two people. Excellent service!

As others have noted, the food is very good. I had a big filet of beef and my wife had a whole fish. I was hoping for more of a fine dinning experience. None if the "I's" or the "T's" were crossed. They didn't even...have some of the "T's".More

A bit overrated in my opinion. I was told and told that I had to go try the beef, which I did. Zaguán is noted for its steaks! I ordered a skirt steak with a pepper sauce, fries and a mixed vegetable assortment. It’s one...of the more expensive restaurants in town and it generally has a pretty good crowd on weekends. But I was disappointed with my meal: not much flavor in the meat and the pepper sauce underwhelmed. The chocolate cake for desert was tasty!! Have not been back.More

My steak was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. The restaurant was clean and the waitstaff were super sweet and spoke English. One of the best restaurants in Granada.

One of the best meals in Nicaragua. It is a ‘steakhouse’ but offers a variety of fresh entrees. The steak I had was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. It was served with a chimichurre sauce, gallopinto, the cheese, and carmelized plantains. I felt as...though I was eating traditional meal. We had several other dishes and all were delicious. The service was excellent and the staff very accommodating. I did notice many Nicaragüense families dining there which let me know it was a local treasure. The meal presentation, and beverages, were everything I could hope for. It is a lovely garden, colonial setting. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.More

Hi there, I do not have a menu. Their menu changes every few months, but they always have their specialties which is grilled steaks and other meats. Their Sangria is very good if you like that type of refreshments. Enjoy
