Every morning we started with breakfast in this cafe. Wonderful, attentive staff and very tasty food.

While the croissants and pastries are flavourful, they are very heavy. Don't bother sitting down to eat. It would be easy to believe that they do not want customers from the way you are treated. The latte I ordered tasted burnt and the pastries were...reheated in the microwave, completely ruining any of the typical flaky quality you would expect. The food is of good quality, but don't trust anyone other than the baker. Walk in, take the tongs and pick what you want, pay and leave!More
The cats are fed in the kitchen where the bread gets baked. And the toilets... has the oldest blackest brush I've seen hanging on the wall, and overflow when flushing... horrifying! Don't expect high quality regarding the bread or the food. A lot of room...for improvement.More
This lady working there now she is very mean and did not give me plastic bag I asked. I am customer long time and they do not treat people well. I will stop going there as obviously they do not value longe time customer. And...she spoke to me not nice. Avoid this place.More
Order breakfast by menu picture but don’t expect the quality to be good. The orange juice in the set menus is out of a carton, the toast a tiny half slice of processed bread, the bacon a single overcooked rasher. Maybe we should have asked...for a baguette - they looked good. We stayed in Kae Bae almost next door. For eggs & bacon & great coffee, try the small Sanook Sanang cafe in the middle of Kae Bae. For fresh orange juice & excellent pastries and filled baguettes, go to the Papa bakery at the northern end of the village with its nice seating.More
Nice and BIG filled breads of your choice. Fast service. I recommend this place!! We come back again!
Friendly people and great food and coffee. Had read good reviews on this place, so decided to pull in as I was passing. Has a meatball and cheese melt baguette with a coffee. The baguette was bigger than I expected and very filling, and oh...so good 😊. I then had a iced chocolate drink which was superb and very chocolatey.More
I went three times to this place - if I’m honest it was just to use the wi fi as the first time I ate here it was well below average and served by the grumpiest woman I had encountered in Thailand. I thought I...had done something wrong. But looking at other recent reviews it’s not just me. Dreadfully rude service, filthy carpets and chipped and grubby crockery. It’s the worst example I have yet seen of complacency in a destination which has enjoyed the benefits of tourism. The owners should think very hard about this business. It’s not a happy experience.More
For a bread outlet on a tourist island distant from good ingredient sources, Crust Bakery produces a reasonable product at fair prices. The superb bakeries of Amantree, Paul or Eric Kaiser in Bangkok are twice the price. But staff at Crust are indifferent and intolerant...and they could improve their coffee. However Thais eat rice and drink instant coffee, so we should not expect the standards of a French patisserie or Italian caffe shop. But Crust is much better than alternative Papa Deli, where I agree with other posts re price and (presumed) owner's 'neo-colonial' attitude: sadly often the case with long-term Western male expat business owners in Thailand.More
Very rude staff with no motivation. Some of the products are good for take away but can‘t recommend to eat there if you not want to be pissed off after.
Ciabatta should not be named ciabatta if it’s not ciabatta, rather call it ‘bread’ in stead. Know those breads you buy which you have to finish in the oven yourself? Those taste better. If you then put salad and squared sandwich cheese on it, that...doesn’t make it a sellable sandwich. Coffee was ok, nothing wrong about that. But the word ‘bakery’ is a little misleading for this place. If you still decide to go here, get a baguette.More
We are here for a month and discovered this on our first day - so will have to plan to do lots of walking. The coffee (regular and specialities) are really good, but it is the pastries that really take the cake (pun intended). We...are trying to limit ourselves to going for breakfast only every other day (and buying our fresh bread daily). Pictured here are our two favourites - almond crossiant and the best cinnammon bun I've ever had!More
Although we did not eat here we purchased a gorgeous crust loaf of bread and some pre-packaged ham and it was divine-----just like real ham from the UK.
I stopped almost everyday to this bakery during my stay on Koh Chang. Pastries were very good, especially when they were still warm, straight from the over. I didn't taste their breads but they had different types which were smelling and looking good too. Mornings...were quite busy like there are lots of people who came to take their breakfast.More
Dropped in here for a lunch with the kids. Coffee was good and would return for another. Kids had Toasted sandwiches which took way to long to get. I had finished my lunch and coffee before we chased up their order the first time. Once...they arrived the Toasted sandwiches were good, but the delay in getting them spoiled the mood. Food is let down by the service here.More
