It does not get more fresh than this, most of the seafood is live when you order. This restaurant delivers perfect authentic Thai seafood to every dish. If spicy is not your thing be sure to mention that when you order but if you're not Thai and want to make sure you get exactly what a Thai visitor would be... More

Have been here before about 5 years ago and it is still maintaining its high standards which is always a good indicator. The setting is stunning looking out onto Salak Phet Bay with it's collection of picturesque Islands. The restaurant is a great seafood eating venue. We had scallops in shell with garlic, squid in lemon fantastic, deep fried squid... More

Without doubt this is the best seafood restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food is exceptional. Very quick service and very reasonably priced. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

Family of x2 adults and x2 small children for a late lunch. We ordered a mix of varied options from the menu. All food very nice especially the crab. Location, bit out of the way and not too well sign posted. Once there view, was nice. One of the waitresses was attentive but struggled to smile, the young male waiter was... More

It is quite a drive from White Sand to the south-eastern side of Koh Chang but well worth the effort. Very good seafood in a simple restaurant setting with amazing views over the bay. Loved the tom yam talay and the fried dried squid was exceptional.

My extended family of 12 went here for a late lunch/early dinner. Let me preface this review by stating I do not eat seafood, so was extremely dubious that I would like anything here. Firstly, this has to be the best view/location in the island. Surrounded by sea and mountains, it was worth the drive just for the view. The... More

We visit this restaurant during our exploration of the east side of the island. My kid did not like any seafood til Salakh Phet SeaFood. She ate the whole steamed seabass with pineapple sauce, i was impressed. But the fish was good indeed. Wery fres, right from the sea to your plate. Beast tom yam goon in Thailand, according to... I have been to this restaurant many times and always take first time visitors to Koh Chang for a meal. On this occasion we were a group of seven, and ordered fried rice with seafood, deep fried fish with sweet and sour sauce , spicy seafood, crab balls, stirfried vegetables, squid steamed in spicy lemon juice, fried squid in fried... It a long trip from the touristy side of Koh Chang, but the road is scenic and the further away from White Sand you get, the more you begin to feel the spirit of the island and Thailand. Although there is only one road, Salak Phet Seafood is not easy to find, but take your time (you are on holiday,... More

Every time we visit Koh Chang we spend a morning / afternoon going for lunch at Salak Phet seafood. It's a long drive but nice to get away from the hustle and bustle and the fresh seafood is worth the drive. Not to forget the view from the restaurant. Definitely going back again.
