At the end of the world (Koh Chang) with a nice view. The fish dishes are fresh but nothing very special. The Tom Kha Gai I had one day was full of onions and with more than 200 Baht really expensive. Also the fish dishes are a bit overpriced. Not worth to make a long trip to the restaurant, but... We headed out for a drive around the island and came across this restaurant, as it's literally the end of the road. Patrons were mainly Thai which was a great sign! We had the yellow curry crab and tempura squid, both dishes were nice however the squid was a little overdone. The menu is quite extensive, so if it's seafood... More

Seafood here is fresh and tasty. We enjoyed lunch here very much especially the marinated calamari was so good.

Ate twice at this restaurant right at the tip of the non touristy side of the island overlooking the bay, probably better to go during the day to admire the sea view and wander round the port where all the fresh fish is stocked.Be careful in the evening service stops at 8pm so get there early. The seafood is excellent,... More

A really nice restaurant with amazing views of the ocean. The seafood was fresh and affordable and the staff were extremely friendly - I recommend the oysters!

With our italian friends we went to Salak Phet Seafood. Quite a drive but worth every kilometer! Order just all their favourites on page one ofbthe menu and you will arrive in seafood heaven. Scallops, crab!, prawn, crab fried rice and seabass. A table full of all the best fresh fish the Thai ocean can bring. And the setting: just... More

Good quality seafood with great view. The price is cheaper than the others in the opposite of the island. Although the restaurant is slightly hard to find, but the quality of food is worth for.

I always try and avoid ordering anything that is priced per 100g because you're basically just giving the restaurant an opportunity to print any price on the bill and you can't dispute it because the food is already inside you. But, I'd already stayed here for a night a while ago, and found the staff and place friendly, and I've... More

Salak Phet Seafood is set in a large covered open air space on a wooden deck extending out into a marina at the very end of the east side road on the southern tip of Koh Chang. Just outside the covered table areas are netted holding pens full of live seafood. We saw a mix of Thai and Western diners;... More

It does not get more fresh than this, most of the seafood is live when you order. This restaurant delivers perfect authentic Thai seafood to every dish. If spicy is not your thing be sure to mention that when you order but if you're not Thai and want to make sure you get exactly what a Thai visitor would be... More
