Need a reservation to get a good spot/table. Food is excellent! Some areas do require mosquito repellant. Overall 4 out of 5.

From someone who is from Luzon, it was such a treat to taste their knickerbucker --fresh fruits with jelly topped with ice cream. Another must-try is their sizzling bulalo. Serving time is about 30-40 min... Hotel was nice, clean, and affordable. Customer service, excellent.

This restaurant is located approximately 8 km from the city proper, but still customers' cars cue endlessly. It is mainly because of their Crispy Pata, which you can order in terms small, medium, or large. Though their bilao is also a feast to enjoy, and more so their knicker-bucker will be worth a try.

Zamboanga dining is slow dining. Be ready for: (1) long waits for orders and (2) items in the menu not being available. That being said, Palmeras provides the best value for money for me, despite the usual full-packed house and slow service. The serving sizes are very large and the food is very delicious. Prices are very reasonable and you... More

It was a delicious Zamboanga treat! Knickerbocker's different and tastes healthier than other similar desserts I've had.

I wanted to have Japanese food and on the other hand my Filipino guests wanted to eat typical Filipino food, I had best tempura and tofu steak and my guests had pinakbet, karne-karne and garlic rice, in the end the best dessert I order was NICKER BAAKER ice cream (watermelon, melon, papaya etc with one big scoop of home made... I went here for a late lunch because the reviews here was so promising. I'm really very impressed, the food was ok, sure. but it was nothing out of the ordinary. The portions are generous, but it is also a little pricey compared to what you get. We tried the knickerbucker and from the reviews here we expected something special,... More
