Although this is on the edge of an open air shopping precinct, it still has a nice atmosphere both inside and out. The food is lovely with a good range of starters and main courses. The dessert menu even includes things other than the stand chocolate mousse, creme brullee. There is an exhaustive wine list at all prices, so if... More

Service was quick, and food very flavourful. Would eat here again. The wine list was quite daunting, as the establishment is really a wine bar- good if you know your wines. Probably not a place to take small children.

Wine list extensive. We watched the old French gentleman next to us get served beautiful looking salads and steak. My daughters got entrecôte that was fatty but edible. The med rare entrecôte my husband was served was totally inedible. It was like cutting thru a piece of taffy. He couldn't even eat it. The variance In quality between what was... More

This restaurant is the best cuisine in the west coast of the island. They are always innovating and the food is a very fine French food with an excellent wine cellar. There is no other restaurant in Blackpool River that can compete with them. Excellent and I recommend this restaurant to everybody. You will never be disappointed

Have visited this place several times for lunch over the last few years and have revisited twice recently. They provide an excellent 2 course lunch of the day, either fish or meat main course, for either 350 or 420 rupees (fish being more) with a dessert. Can definitely recommend, the wine by the glass is good too.

Wonderful French and local dishes. A little pricey but worth the money. Very friendly service, easy parking.

We had been living in Mauritius for five months and decided to go to this restaurant while we waited for our car to be valeted at Balachois. We both agreed it was one of the finest meals we had experienced in Mauritius and great value for money. My wife had a perfect Salad Nicoise and I had a wonderful first... More

The food here is by far one of the best on the island, no question about it. The only reason I rate it low is the fact that one evening our group of 5 came at 7 pm when the restaurant was almost empty and were turned down as they were all 'booked'. So we ate poor food next door,... More

Looking for good food outside town, this is one of a kind : even though located in the commercial complex of Shoprite Tamarin, Whatever is a very cozy and welcoming venue. The staff welcome you with a smile can accommodate you as per your desire. The menu does not offer such a wide choice but fine dine. On the other... More
