It’s a nice restaurant with linen tablecloths. Plenty of parking. Good wait staff. A good place for a date.

My husband and I love going to Crab Louie’s for atmosphere, excellent food and fantastic wait staff. We like sitting in the area with the two fireplaces and sitting in the tall back chairs. Very romantic! They always present an array of choices with breads...More

We have going to Crab Louie's seafood tavern for many years and quite simply its the best seafood restaurant in the area. Frankly, that aren't many real seafood restaurants left in the this area. Sure, every restaurant usually has some type of seafood on the...More

Your table will have relishes and you will be offered bread, sweet breads. Take them, try them all. Everything is made in house. Nice alternative to chain seafood restaurants, much more local, homey.

Crab Louies Seafood Tavern is in the old plantation house of my ancestor John Wooldridge from the early 1700's. The seafood is beyond wonderful as are the steaks. The ale is delicious and the desserts satisfy you. For extra ambiance, there is a young ghost...More

The atmosphere is charming and historic. The house has so much history. Service is friendly and the tables/floors are clean. I have to say the appetizer breads are the best. It reminds me of years ago when fine dining served a whole bread with honey...More

Dinner with friends who know the choices in the area and recommended it highly. They were right. The appetizer breads were delicious, she-crab soup was perfect, the crab cake was superb as were the accompanying vegetables. Service was friendly, quick and attentive without being obtrusive....More

Crab Louie's should be fine for your celebration. I would also recommend the Boathouse. The boathouse offers the view and some distractions/ attractions for the kids.
