The Chequers in in a charming village steeped in history. The pub has a lovely dining extension and very good food. Only comment is there was not much choice for a vegetarian. Good wine selection.

Met here with some colleagues, the drinks were lovely, the staff were helpful and the surroundings and beer gardens are lovely!! The portions of sides are small so be mindful

Yes dogs are definitely allowed In the bar area both at lunchtimes and in the evening. We are locals and regulars and often see well behaved dogs sitting under the tables. The waiting staff are also very dog friendly... More

A country pub & restaurant overlooking the Green offering modern British cruisine with Mediterranean twist using the freshest ingredients. Homemade and where possible sourced locally including vegetables from their local allotment and fresh herbs grown in the Restaurant's herb garden.
