Visiting local vineyard and found this little restaurant for lunch. We arrived just before noon. There was a short line to order. It is a charmingly restored building with tin ceiling and lots of dark oak paneling. There are large widows, allowing light. I ordered...More

Great sandwichs with freshly homemade sides. The coleslaw was perfection. Items do run out and had to order something else that was available. Roast beef sandwich was good. Ham sandwich was great. Coffee could be better. Lots of cold beverages and small market items (cheeses...More

I enjoyed the food and fun decor. The home baked good and options were terrific. Maybe the best part of the Salamander experience--meaning not over priced and mediocre. Worth the trip from the hotel into town.

The food is good. It’s an easy option for lunch as there are good sandwiches including the chicken wrap and the tuna melt. The servers however are pretty young and we’re not very helpful despite there being a multitude of elderly patrons who needed help....More

We loved the vibe of this cute cafe for lunch. The Virginia Melt was so tasty and my friends loved their crabcakes as well. The perfect spot for a casual meal while shopping in Middleburg.

We had breakfast here rather than at the resort (same owner(s)). The staff was awesome, the place was clean (bathrooms too) with nice character. Try their "Dirty Bird Sandwich", a little on the heavy side, but a kid favorite.

Came to grab some lunch. Watched th Kitchen attendant let a dog lick all over her hands and walked behind the counter and started putting food together with out washing her hands or wearing plastic gloves. Unsanitary . Ugh

We had such a warm greeting when we arrived! Our breakfast wrap was yummy and made to order very quickly. We also enjoyed the biscuits and gravy...very well executed southern dish!! Casual spot with nice decorations and local/artisan food and food-related products for sale.
