Wonderful breakfasts, good coffee, beautiful surroundings and super sweet staff. Back in the August of 2016 I was doing post fest volunteer work for Floydfest and only had a check to pay my bill! Already a little embarrassed about the lack of other forms of payment and not wanting to put out the waitress, even though they would accept my... More

Mabry Mill is, by no means, just a restaurant. It is a site with plenty of history... and, during the warm season, a living history museum. Don't miss it! The food is traditional comfort food, but the whole experience is not to be missed.

Great place to visit...traveling up there on a motorcycle was an awesome ride...the parkway is always nice and this is an historical place.

I've visited Mabry's Mill since I was a child. I'm 68 today and still get a thrill every time I visit there. The same old sites, but a new thrill each time I go there.

This restaurant and the gift shop share a parking lot with the Mabry Mill exhibit area on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is convenient to eat there if the time of day is right. More often than not,the restaurant is crowded and I've visited the exhibit area when the restaurant line was out the door. Friday morning was the first... More

I never get tired of going here! Beautiful photographic opportunities. Nice to walk and visit all the exhibits. Unfortunately the restaurant had closed for the season, but we'll be back!!!

At 3 pm there was a wait. I had turkey dinner which was tasty and fine, but not great. My husband had meatloaf which was good. There was no vanilla ice cream for the blackberry cobbler. A nice country lunch without driving off the parkway. The old mill and surrounding old buildings was interesting.

We had an enjoyable breakfast in this old-fashioned diner. We were given a nice pager with voice alert so we were able to walk down to the mill while we waited. The food came out fast - the blueberry pancakes were delicious! The waitress gave us our coffee in to-go cups which was really nice. Just a nice stop along... More

Lunch was good but the wait and the service was horrible. Wait time was over an hour. Once seated it took forever to be waited on and the servers were not friendly. I overheard other customers complaining to each other about how unfriendly the wait staff was as well. Probably would skip this meal stop on a visit to the... More

We were seated in the back where it was hot. We had to wait forever for drink orders. Two tables were seated after us and had their orders taken before us. Finally someone comes to rake our orders but by then we are ready to leave. Poor service.
