Great food and awesome service! The bq nachos were super. The dry rub smoked then fried wings are worth the trip.

Mediocre 🤷. We’ve been to a fair number of BBQ restaurants across American and realize that good BBW is a matter of personal taste and preference - so this is our opinion! The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and tidy as...are the restrooms! We had the Pork BBQ sandwich with sides of fries, beans and mac & cheese. The mac and cheese was homemade was good, beans seemed to have a rather unusual taste but okay. Fries were fine but probably frozen. The buns were home baked. The actual BBQ was a bit stringy, large hunks with a mediocre flavor at best. The 4 choices of BBQ sauce offered nothing spectacular. Worth trying if you had not been here.More

This was our 3rd time to the area and finally decided to give Hank's a try. The burgers were amazing! My husband said that chicken sandwich was the best chicken sandwich he had ever had. My only regret was not trying it before this trip....We will most certainly be back!More

We saw the Hanks Fly'n Pig truck set up in downtown Luray, VA. We had never heard of it (or of Hanks Grille and Barbecue) but lucky for us we decided to give it a try. It was outstanding! The pork barbeque was moist and...flavorful and delicious. Loved the smokiness of it. If we didn't already have plans for a 5-course meal later that evening, we would have gone back for seconds. Highly recommend it. If you see the truck, stop and get some!More

We stopped here for a couple of drinks and ended up having wonderful barbecue. Babyback ribs and pulled pork are awesome.

We had lunch here seated outside. Lovely “South 49” salad, with grilled chicken and candied walnuts for $7. Some folks in our party didn’t like the BBQ, but not for me to judge. Decent inside and outside seating areas.

We drove here for dinner on a Friday night but with the full parking lot decided to try another restaurant. We were happy to return on a later day for lunch - we really enjoyed the decorations in the dining room, our waitress and the...bar tender were both great, the food tasty and abundant (I really enjoyed the Brunswick stew and my wife her brisket platter). My brother also delighted in the beer selection. Great place!More

We ordered take-out ribs from Hanks tonight while staying at a nearby resort. The baby back ribs (option of dry rub or sauce- we went with the dry rub, with sauce on the side) were meaty and tender, with a wonderful taste. The side order...of potato salad (loaded) was also excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Can’t wait to go back to try their beef brisket!More
