Specials .... prime rib full of chunks of fat and seabass beautiful piece of fish uncooked in the middle. Cook sucks, there's no getting a good meal here unless you like bar food or just have no taste.

Wasn't expecting it but delicious burgers. Small town cafe has good menu assortment. Offers local beer and wine.

We stopped at this restaurant and tried their lunch. The sandwiches were good and the prices were fair. The only thing that we found to be bad was that the place needed to be cleaned. There was dust and dirt everywhere. But, despite the dirt, the food and service were good.

We were tired from the drive into town and very happy to have a close, casual place to eat. We ate outside (where dogs are allowed) and they promptly brought us some insect repellant. The pulled pork barbecue was good and we had a half pitcher of some very good beer, which was the prefect amount. The service was friendly... More

Our group of 5 stopped in for lunch. A warm and cozy dining experience from beginning to end.Nicely set up and decorated.Plenty of room between tables ,separate rooms. The waitress (I didn't catch her name) was patient waiting for us to order. The menu had many tasty sounding dishes and the specials also sounded delectable. The waitress was happy to... More

Nice little restaurant right off of 29. I had the prime rib last Friday (6.3.16) ... absolutely perfect with the best mashed potatoes ! On nice days they have a patio that is dog friendly. The lounge (bar) is open much later than the restaurant times listed here ... weekends until midnight ... and is really the only place in... More

We found this with tripadvisor. Today's specials were smoked beef brisket sandwich and Virginia oysters. The beef is smoked in-house and was literally melt in your mouth tender. It was served with a cooked onions and sauce mixture that added to the overall dish. The oysters were lightly breaded and cooked perfectly. While the cocktail sauce was fresh and delicious,... More

This was a great little restaurant, just off route 29 with friendly service and great food - we actually stopped here twice on our recent trip. We enjoyed their blooming onion, fantastic reuben, chicken salad on croissant, and fried oysters (a special for that day). Big booths provided a comfortable break from our drive.

I discovered the Lovingston Cafe in 2010 on a trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains. What a surprise! It's nothing fancy, but it's where the locals go who are well-traveled enough to know the food is down-home good! Excellent wait staff. It's a casual restaurant that serves consistently good food (been there many times) where you can indulge in American... More

I have stopped twice and both times was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful atmosphere and good food at a nice price. Very pleasant wait staff and clean bathrooms. I plan on making this a regular stop on my way down Route 29!
