Lunch at the Blue Sky is a culinary experience not soon forgotten. I can taste the wonderful bean soup every time I pass the restaurant. The sandwiches are brought to life with herbs and the specials are calling your name. You will love the outdoor seating or indoor ambiance.

Basked in the sunshine while enjoying a wonderful lunch outside on their picnic tables. If you like quaint restaurants with tasty, homemade food and friendly service that won't break the bank, then this is your kind of place. The veggie melts, veggie focaccia and tomato soup were fabulous. I would definitely come here again.

This beautiful little restaurant rests just a stone's throw from the campus of Washington & Lee University. It is a lovely shoppe, with fresh-baked bread/focaccia, homemade soups and delicious sandwiches. The staff was lovely, engaging and efficient. If you are visiting the University or Lexington, you must try their signature chicken salad and the pizza-like focaccia. We loved it and... More

The pimento cheese sandwich alone makes the restaurant worth the trip. However, everything is good. Every day they have special focaccia with toppings - one slice is plenty for a filling lunch. The desserts all look excellent, although I've only tried the lemon bars, which are fantastic. One drawback is the line - it is always crowded, you almost always... More

My husband and I were taking a leisurely paced drive from upstate NY to Georgia and Florida. Getting hungry and wanting to eat something healthy I pulled up my TripAdvisor app just in time before we had missed the Lexington exit on I81. The best salads! Fresh, full of interesting veggies, cheese, peanuts ( you can leave them out if... More

It is not open on the weekends-but when it is many college students eat here because the service is fast and food is delicious and well priced and of course everyone is so nice! I live here so we visit often.

Visited during parents weekend, long line but they move it fast AND SO WORTH IT! Very homey yummy food and the owners are fantastic. They surely know how to run a business. My daughter who goes to Washington and Lee frequents every week, I can tell by her Visa card :)

We had a large group for a late lunch in the mid afternoon on a cold drizzly day and the vegetable soup hit the spot along with "The Great Smokey" sandwich. The service was quick and the sandwiches were good and everybody enjoyed what they had. The desserts were also good.

Four of us for lunch: Great sandwiches and soup! Fresh ingredients. Free water. Healthy. Amazing selection and variations. Daily specials are a good deal. Places to sit inside and out (weather permitting). Easy place to talk with friends.

Worth the quick jump off the Interstate. Southwest Club on Foccacia was wonderful, as was Roasted Red Pepper and Gouda soup. Sidewalk tables available. Street parking.
