Great menu with a large selection of breakfast and lunch items. The staff not willing to stray from the menu even when I was willing to pay additional for an item. This could have been an opportunity for me to positively review another item on the menu. Instead, I was unable to even try it without ordering the entire sandwich.... More

We took a break from riding bikes on a hot morning while staying at the Tides Inn. It is a small but cozy shop with an interesting mix of ice cream, coffees, beer, smoothies, snacks and breakfast foods. Probably has lunch too but we stopped for drinks only so didn't look close at the menu. A few of us had... More

A hot July morning I walked into town from The Tides Inn where my husband was attending a conference. Ordered an iced tea and sat on the front patio sipping my delicious tea and reading some local visitors brochures. Very pleasant even in the summer heat. I started back inside to find out if tea refills were free, but stopped... More

Clean and welcoming. Sandwiches extraordinary and service top drawer. Down home and comfortable. Stop in and find heaven on a "silver plate!" Potato salad to die for!

My sister husband and I had lunch there. Great turkey Brie and Apple panini and my husband had the black and blue roast beef sandwich. All were delicious and the drinks were just ok. Very different unsweetened ice tea

A popular local spot with a good array of baked goods. The salad skimped a bit on toppings. The coffee was good. Loved the air conditioning!

Full disclosure: We live in this wonderful little town and The Local is a major gathering place for us locals and visitors, alike. Great coffee, good breakfast and lunch sandwiches served by friendly folk. - doesn't get much better. And, there's even a place to park your dog on the patio!

We only went two mornings for breakfast. In spite of its small space, this is an efficient operation. Great coffee, solid breakfast offerings. Option of dog-friendly outdoor area is what won our hearts.

We stopped by after golf for lunch. A wonderful local hangout. The food was delicious and prepared attractively. They offer a huge selection of sandwiches, coffees and ice cream. Worth a visit.

We had breakfast here on a girls' trip and we walked to The Local from one of the "tents" or cottages located behind the Dog and Oyster winery. It was a nice laid back atmosphere and we had fun people watching as we sipped on our hot coffee and hot chocolate. We enjoyed muffins and egg sandwiches. If you are... More
