Waited 15 minutes for a glass of wine. After 45 minutes and no sign of our two sandwiches we left. Absolutely ridiculous! This restaurant has some serious kitchen issues as there seemed to be plenty of waitstaff for the 15-20 customers.

Had dinner there this evening. The restaurant is deceiving on its front. It is actually quite large with outdoor seating. After my wife and I sat down we ordered our beverages and our dinner selections. While sitting there talking a member of the staff approached...us asking if we would mind being moved to another table. A very large group (20) just arrived and he was hoping to use our table along with several others next to us to accommodate the group. We obliged his request and moved to the other table. Not sure that is the best thing to do to customers but I tried to understand his situation. While waiting for 45 minutes to an hour we were served our dinners. The food was hot and flavorful. During our time waiting for our meals it was evident the wait staff was doing their best to keep up with things. I am not sure if the management lacks organizational skills or if the kitchen staff is not organized but it is clear there is an issue. A gentleman at the next table received his dish and very politely made it clear his dinner was cold. The restaurant is extremely noisy. With the music playing over the speakers and all the people talking it sounded like I was at a bar with a band. But you could not hear the music. To top it off there was a band in another room playing music. All in all the food is good. The rest, well not sure the food quality makes up for the rest of it.More

The ambiance could be better, but the food is very tasty throughout the menu. We have tried the shrimp and grits and the beef stroganoff and both meals were so good we have not tried the other menu items yet. Others have spoken well of...the hamburgers too. The chef has a wonderful reputation in the area. Have a bar in the back of the restaurant with booths up front.More

The Dam Grill is a new restaurant located at White House Corner. It is casual, has TV's, and a full bar. The menu has a good variety of appetizers and entrees. The Shrimp and Grits was very good and the Beef Trenchant (a French Dip...Sub) was excellent. Service was good and staff was friendly. Entertainment is scheduled for weekends.More
