While the food was good, the wait staff was fine, the whole thing was fairly underwhelming, especially considering the price of the meals. Biggest disappointment - no wine list, despite an old safe that should have been a full wine cellar. The by-the-glass offering was very average. When I inquired about a wine list, I was told "If you want... More

The atmosphere was nice, quite a bit of memorabilia. The service was good, attentive. The trout was absolutely horrible, not even edible.

Came across this place purely by accident. Lovely atmosphere and charm, great bar and food as well as friendly staff although we couldn't work out why we couldn't sit at a table like other diners but had to eat at the bar. Seems like the original bar in a chain?

Quick service, fair prices, good food. Much better than the other Omni restaurants. Would return if I ever go back to the homestead

Came for a conference and love golf so why not try SS. Food was only ok, grilled cheese was burnt and 14$ for a grilled cheese and tiny cup salad was a little pricey. Maybe would be better just as a tavern for drinks and apps??

We had a lovely evening at Sam Snead's Tavern! We liked the atmosphere thought and service was very good. Our server Paul was very sweet. Food was absolutely delicious!!! Portions were big and the food was extremely hot! Which is something that does not happen at every restaurant. We would certainly recommend!!!

Sam Snead's Tavern is a lovely and rustic building with ample seating and a well-stocked bar. Arriving mid-week without a reservation, we were treated the condescending staff as if we had a contagious disease. No seating was possible except the bar, although more than a dozen tables sat empty throughout our meal. The menu aspired to sophistication, but the food... More

Had a dinner reservation for 8 p.m. but were seated a little late. Atmosphere was hectic with a lot of kids, even at that fairly late hour. We were seated in a booth in a relatively quiet area, but found it a bit cramped. Server was courteous but seemed rather inexperienced. Enjoyed our entrees (steak and trout) and delicious pre-dinner... More

Dark and old. Not impressed with the quality. I would prefer to go to Texas Roadhouse (if there was one near by) than eat there. Too expensive for what the lack of quality. Family friendly though. Perfect for kids instead of dragging them to Jefferson's. Nothing to write home about.
