While riding thru Hot Springs we found this little bar and grill. It was just what we expected, small town charm with pub grub. The food was good, we had chili slaw dogs and loved them. Beer was cold and service great. Highly recommend.

This restaurant did not appear that clean and it needs updating. We walked in there were dirty dishes on the tables and we did not feel welcomed. The food was OK. The menu was limited.

We ate lunch here one day and it was interesting to say the least. The food was good enough for lunch. We had grilled chicken sandwiches that were very tasty. They do serve alcohol so you can enjoy a cold beer with your meal. The old lady who runs the place usually sits in the last booth watching soap operas... More

Every time we visit The Homestead with family and friends, we eat breakfast at Lindsay's. He is one of the nicest men we've ever met. The kids play pool in the Elvis room which is a hoot and play songs on the jute box while the adults chat over coffee. The BLT and Egg Sandwich are our favorites. The food... More

We went to Lindsay's roost and wouldn't recommend it at all. I was surprised at tripadvisors reviews said it was down home cooking. Extremely down home. Grilled cheese was 2 pieces of white bread with 1 slice of Kraft (probably market brand) American cheese. We asked for a bowl of applesauce on the side and they gave us this tiny... More

This place had good solid food. Worked well for my two young daughters. They dinner bill was $26 and breakfast was about $18 , for 4 people. Nice short walk from Hotel. I'd go again.

So my daughter gets up late in the morning. We go down for breakfast but we are too late! So we wander down into the village of Hot Springs and check out this restaurant. We are waited on by a woman who is the friend of the regular waitress. She wanted her friend to be able to go on vacation... More

I know that I'm not from here but the workers were relatively hard to understand. I think that this is a type of "hot springs, VA accent" so I couldn't understand them at times. The food tasted really good though!

You're in the country and ought to experience what the locals do. Lindsay's is a great taste of local color. It isn't the best place in town but it's as good as most any diner and do what they do well. Can't beat biscuits and gravy breakfast, trout dinner. About $150 less for dinner here than the homestead for the... More

Very basic lunch. Had a BLT on white bread. Only two pieces of bacon. Sweet potato fries were over cooked and had little flavor. Staff was friendly, local.
