The Texas grilled chicken sandwich was very tasty. The clam strips w fries was also nice. Onion rings were so so. The peanut butter pie was very good and the oatmeal raisin cookies were soft, chewy and delicious( pick some up from the basket on the counter on your way out - really worth the price).

We were at the Homestead for four days last week and we had breakfast at the Country Café on three occasions(and it should have been FOUR). On each visit we had eggs, home fries bacon and toast. Each time the eggs were cooked perfectly as my wife wants "no Brown" on her over-medium eggs and they came out just right... More

Just good food at good prices. Most are like mama used to serve. Have eaten there twice while visiting Homestead. A late lunch on the way to the resort and breakfast the next day.

My wife and I ate breakfast at the Country Cafe and found that their omelets were so big that despite being absolutely delicious we couldn't finish them. The service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. Very good place to have breakfast. Looked over their dinner specials while waiting and they all looked appetizing. One note of caution, we found... More

Six of us visited this restaurant for breakfast while staying at the Omni Homestead. The food was classic home cooked, fresh and well priced. The location is a few minutes south of the Omni on Route 220. There is a great atmosphere with a mixture of locals and travelers. The service was good and the food was served hot. A... More

My family ate there before we checked into the Homestead. The service was friendly and fast and the food was very good. Before we started spending large sums of money at the Homestead it was nice to get good food for reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend it to visitors to the area who want a good meal. It is... More

I ate at the Country Cafe seven times on a recent trip to Bath County. The breakfasts are superb, and the eggs, biscuits and home fries are always perfect. The house dressing at the salad bar is among the best dressings I've ever eaten, and I love it for dipping french fries or sandwiches, too. (It's also a first-rate salad... More

We came in for dinner after a long drive. It was about an hour to closing time but figured that it was enough time. Was excited about the country fried steak as I have not had it for awhile, that and the homemade soup. Food came out luke warm which made it very disappointing and a bit unappealing

We ate here for dinner and then came back the next day for lunch. We picked it at first because we wanted something very casual for dinner, and not the more formal dining at the Homestead where we were staying. I had the special Fried Chicken and the trophy wife had the trout. We had chocolate chip pie ala mode... More

We stopped here for a quick lunch. A local recommended the restaurant. A pleasant & clean establishment with good food. We had a hamburger, a grilled ham & cheese, salad bar (fresh mixed greens) & a patty melt... all good. Pies are homemade daily & delicious.
