Went here for lunch on the insistence of my boss who thinks I'm not eating as well as I should. (I'm a second-time around bachelor) So, we went for lunch. Not take-out (he says I eat too many meals at my desk!) but eat-in. First, the chicken (fried for me, grilled for him) is still excellent. The coleslaw is different... More

Delicious chicken- their campers beans is why we eat there at least twice a month. Service can be slow and frustrating- but food is worth it.

Went to Pollo Campero in Guatemala so was excited to see it here. Maybe if I had stuck with their regular fried chicken it would have been good but tried their grilled this time which was marinaded with unpleasant taste. So probably wouldn't return.

Pollo Campero is a good Guatemalan fried chicken franchise. Their best option in my opinion are the nuggets or as they them "camperitos" with hot mustard sauce.

Went there with my family and after being short changed a few cents by the cashier we proceeded to sit down and eat but after my young son noticed a roach we just decided to take the good to go. Honestly you can't throw a rock in Herndon without hitting a Peruvian chicken restaurant and should your rock hit this... More

The service was quick and friendly with no arguments on using a coupon. (Unlike the nearby Popeye's) The fried chicken pieces were nicely sized with a very good and unique flavor which was not spicy. The only downer was the selection of sides is quite limited with the website listing some nice ones not sold here. One thing I'm sure... More

So I mostly get take out. They have two kinds of chicken a fried and a roasted- I prefer the roasted or whatever they call it (baked etc.)- the sides are good- the staff is efficient and the manager will help you if you have a problem- it all has a south of the border taste which I like- mostly... Pollo Campero serves Peruvian fried chicken. It's crispy, juicy, and comes with your choice of side. The food was pretty good.

We had dinner here Tuesday after my liquid fast. I was so hungry but the food did not bring back my appetite. After previous experience eating at Super Chicken this place made me sad. Chicken did not have any taste, the tortilla was nasty. Popeye chicken taste better. Extremely disappointed and will not come back.

you tired of KFC or Popeye's...? this is the best alternative chicken place you'll find. In fact, I only rank Chick-Fil-A as a better tasting fast food chicken... Awesome place... excellent for large take-out parties...
