Wanted to take friends out for a celebratory meal so chose the Black. We were not disappointed in the least. Had a fabulous meal as always. Surroundings good. Will certainly visit again. If you have not been before then i suggest you do as you dont know what your missing. X

Really enjoyed our visit to The black Lion. Food was really tasty good quality and offered good variety for Vegetarians. Services were also good, lovely location. Good prices would recommend.

Popped in for some tea at about half 5 on Saturday the staff were lovely and got us Sat down with a high chair straight away. Nice and relaxed atmosphere food took it's time but we didn't mind as it was great both had steak and ale pie which I would recommend and 1 year old had chicken poppers and... More

Called in the Black lion for lunch with friends over the bank holiday weekend and this place is picture post card , we ordered two chicken dinners and they where fantastic and well worth a go loads of good stuff . Large airy Pub and restraunt food delicious staff lovely . Large car park . All in a very picturesque countryside over a quaint little bridge . Will definitely be back xx Easy access and looks like it would be OK if you have kids. The coffee smells great and tastes Fab x

This is a must restaurant the food is wonderful and Gluten Free the staff were friendly The out side is on the day we had was fabulous the views see photos there is some good out door stuff for the children see photos it's very relaxing out side and children can play in the water so take a towel over... Excellent place to stay, very comfortable luxury rooms, clean with very friendly staff. We stayed for breakfast, full Welsh cooked to perfection and the evening was very good too! Highly recommend, would visit again.

Called at the Black Lion after seeing a picture of a meal taken by a friend on his recent visit. Wow what a fantastic surprise. We had not booked but were warmly greeted and seated in a nice corner of the restaurant. Studying the menu it was nice to see a compact but varied choice..... I always get very concerned... More

After looking on trip adviser for the top eatery Abergele and seeing the bog standard pub menu we gave the George and Dragon a miss and came here. So glad we did!
