Everything we ordered was awesome! I absolutely loved the whiskey dip!! The Brussel sprouts were great too! The staff was very attentive and we received our order quickly. Would have loved to hang out there and had a drink or two, but COVID restrictions prevented...that. Definitely would go back!!More

The food was delicious! I got a french dip and my husband got the brisket sandwich. He said it was the best brisket he's had in his life! Our waitress was very friendly. However, when we came, the man at the front was VERY rude...about me not wearing a mask (even though I have a health condition). We were treated as outcasts as he took us back outside as he told us we had to wait outside until a table had become available. We had registered online on their waitlist, but they actually had given our table away by the time we got there.More

We looked into another downtown restaurant which was really crowded and walked down the street to Jimmy Madison's and boy are we glad we did. Well spaced tables, great menu, moderately priced and staff and delicious food. The highest commendation was made by my brother...who had the chicken and waffle sandwich. He proclaimed it the best fried chicken he had ever eaten. I rarely give a five star rating but this place deserves it!More

We were in VA and a friend recommended Jimmy Madison's. While it is in a college town, we were there Friday night and did not feel an overwhelming sense of younger people. The service was good, the music fitting. The ribs were delicious, would recommend...them, The wings were pretty good too. Parking was limited.More

We enjoyed our first visit to Jimmy Madison's in Harrisonburg during a trip to move in our new freshman JMU Duke. We'd seen the positive reviews so we wanted to check it out for ourselves and are glad we did, even though there was a...bit of a wait. The food was excellent, the atmosphere is nice and fun, and the staff was very friendly, attentive and Covid conscious. We'll definitely be back on future visits to town. The bbq chicken wing appetizer is awesome, perhaps the best we've ever had. There's also plenty of nearby parking.More

Went for lunch as we were passing through. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant is quaint and clean, however could see where at night during the school year it would be have a more bar like atmosphere. Food was fine.

Stopped here for lunch along our drive on 81. Very close to highway. The service was good and so was food. Liked the atmosphere. Pub feel, very casual.

It wasn’t too busy but it was a Tuesday evening and we were early. The Old Fashioned was very tasty. Had catfish po-boy and brisket nachos. The staff was very friendly. Definitely like the decor and the style!
