Sunday lunch.
What we liked:
1. Free parking
2. Pleasant, clean interior. No loud music
3. We were greeted with a friendly hello and a smile
4. Attentive service
5. Clean restroom
6. Gelato is out of this world and there’s a generous selection of flavors
7. Coffee is excellent—like a fine restaurant
8. Broad menu—pizza to seafood
9. Adequate wine menu
10. Long list of salad dressings
11. Goochland is a small but charming destination
12. Two pasta entrees, two desserts, two coffees, one bar drink, and extra order of bread ($1.50) came to $47 before tip.
What we didn’t like:
1. A diner should not have to ask for a bread plate, especially when served crusty, messy bread and there’s nothing on the table (yet) over which to eat it.
2. Same goes for grated cheese. You shouldn’t have to wait in front of a hot plate of pasta for waitstaff to bring a customary condiment.
2. Salad was adequate and nothing more
3. Spaghetti with clams had great eye appeal but was somehow lacking. The sauce was good but lacked zest. It was also more watery than it should have been.
4. Same for baked ziti. Good but not great.
5. Imitation butter—bright yellow—on the bread.
Would we return? No. Too many other good Italian spots in greater Richmond. Bella Sicilia, however, could rate 5 stars with a little more attention to detail.

We came here for lunch. We started with the fried ravioli, which was recommended. It was great. We had a chicken wrap and a chicken parmigiana sandwich, both were delicious. We ended our meal with tiramisu, delightful. Service was quick and attentive.

Nice locally owned place. Friendly service, they now have a bar area open. Looking forward to trying that. Overall a good lunch or dinner spot

The food is always awesome here! Great selection, great staff and great atmosphere! I have tried many different items here and all were delicious.

Their pizza is one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Authentically Italian--the food and the atmosphere. And you can get some delicious ice cream there to top off an amazing, fill-you-up meal!

We have tried this restaurant on a handful of visits since they opened and are still not impressed. Everything I have had is just okay. Picked up a pizza from there this past weekend and there are definitely better pizzas.

Service was ok. Food is not delicious. Have not been happy any of the three times I've eaten there. We had sandwiches once, pizza once and pasta meal once. Not enough ingredients on the sandwich or the pizza. The pasta dinner was just blah.

In the small town of Goochland there are 10 restaurants with in a 5 mile radius. There are Italian restaurants that are owned by all nationalities but only one that we know is authentic. That having bees said it is very good but if your use to New York style Italian you will be disappointed. But it is as good as it gets in this small town.
We enjoy the Sals special as well as the lasagna. Never had a bad meal or bad service here

My family eats here on a weekly basis. They have lots of options and the food is great ! I love love love their marinara !

Myself and a friend were passing through Goochland on our way to a wedding in Amelia. We were both starving and decided having time to spare that we would grab a bite to eat. We came across Bella Sicilia and both love Italian food so figured we would give it a try! Best decision of the whole trip! The atmosphere is very nice and inviting. We had a wonderful server, she checked on us regularly. We both ordered traditional Pasta dishes. I had the Chicken Parm and she had the Fettuccine Alfredo. They both came out Hot and delicious. The bread was also warm and tatsy that we had with the meal. We had a nice waitress. She was prompt to keep an eye on what stage we were at and what we might need. The prices are average for a decent Italian restaurant. I definitely recommend this restaurant. My boyfriend and I are actually planning a visit this Friday to a town near Goochland and I have already told him we will be stopping there for a meal!

Enjoy the food. However, taken aback by an automatic 18% tip when 8 of us had two pizzas. Realize this may be common practice. But ethically, a person should have the option to chose when and how much to tip.

We went to Bella Sicilia for an easy Saturday night dinner. Although it is not a flashy big city restaurant, it serves up quite a variety of Italian favorites at extremely reasonable prices. The wait staff consists of local high school students who do a nice job taking care of the clientele.
I had an excellent sausage and peppers sub served with a side of chips. My brother had an ample plate of Fettuccine Alfredo. His came with a nice chilled salad and an individual loaf of garlic bread. We certainly enjoyed our meals.
Bella Sicilia has sandwiches, salads, pizza, and entrees. They have daily $5.99 lunch specials and even an in house ice cream counter. You can get an alcoholic drink if you wish. No one who comes into this restaurant should leave hungry. It is worth the drive to try it!

I ate dinner at this Italian restaurant this past Sunday. It was the 2nd time I've eaten there and my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the everything baked ziti in meat sauce & it was AWESOME! The salad was fresh & the bread was crusty on the outside & soft in the inside. My friend said her chicken Marsala was great! This is a MUST try if you're in the area!

Hidden in the charming town of Goochland, you will find several excellent restaurants and Bella Sicilia is one of them. Their pasta and pizza are fantastic. Family-owned = good homemade Italian food.
