Had dinner here while staying in the adjacent Hilton Garden Inn. The place seemed to be a great place for groups to gather and socialize. Fantastic beer selection - and very good menu. The food was good - but not unique. I found the prices to be a bit higher than comparable locations. It was a good dinner, but would... More

If you love craft brew than capital ale house is for you. They've got an unbelievable amount of beer on tap and in bottles/cans. The service was good, the food is decent and the atmosphere is fun and social. If you're into beer and like pub food, come check it out.

I rate it a 3 because I recommend the drinks and appetizers plus the burgers. The Salmon that someone ordered at the table was way over cooked!! The service was not good. I don't know if she had to many tables or wasn't efficient but she wasn't friendly either. I can't say I will go back after my first experience... More

We had a family friendly meal with two kids and 4 adults Yagger Snitzel was good and not your usual chain restaurant fare. But then it was not a chain. Great selection of craft beers.

Man.....the location was great! We got in and seated without a wait. To find out the special was $2 Burger night.....Amazing! (MONDAY NIGHTS). They only cook the burger medium well to well done. So the burger was VERY dry. So I ordered the Calamari. Fried too hard but was ok. Babe didn't like it so he ate my burger instead.... More

Went around 1pm, could not believe that there was only one other table with 2 people at it. By the time we left around 2:20, there was actually 3 other table with customers their. I had a burger with pork belly on top of it was good. My friend had a steak and it was delicious. Ordered a vodka and... More

From the second I walked in, all I smelled was spoiled beer. I must have been on the carpet runner just inside the door. The next thing I noticed were the flies and gnats that were drawn to the beer. This must be what an old English beer hall was like in 1935. The server handed me a paper menu.... More

WOW! I couldn't agree more with your disappointment. This is absolutely unacceptable and certainly not our standards. We have the rugs cleaned weekly and we mop every morning before we open. This time of year with the heat and sweet delicious beer following, gnats are a concern but we go to great lengths to manage them and I apologize for... More

I mean, you don't eat at Capital Ale House for the food, which is pretty solid and standard pub food with a German/Belgian accent (Jägerschnitzel! Pomme frites with flavored mayo!). You eat here for the beer, which is extensive and affordable. Took the family, who are not beer drinkers; they had a decent dinner, I had some food but also... More

We were back visiting family and friends and thought this would be an easy place for dinner. Our dinner was just awful. I had fish finger dinner. The fish was not good and it was encased in a thick hard shell dough served on a bed of soggy fries. It was the worst food. My husbands dinner was equally disgusting.... More
