I mean, you don't eat at Capital Ale House for the food, which is pretty solid and standard pub food with a German/Belgian accent (Jägerschnitzel! Pomme frites with flavored mayo!). You eat here for the beer, which is extensive and affordable. Took the family, who are not beer drinkers; they had a decent dinner, I had some food but also... More

We were back visiting family and friends and thought this would be an easy place for dinner. Our dinner was just awful. I had fish finger dinner. The fish was not good and it was encased in a thick hard shell dough served on a bed of soggy fries. It was the worst food. My husbands dinner was equally disgusting.... More

Capital Ale House has a wide array of food to choose from accompanied with some interesting and somewhat exotic sauces. I love how they turn fries into Belgian fries with their sauces and pair pineapple bbq sauce with sweet potato fries. Love their crab cakes, and their salads are totally delish! Want a beer? They have a wonderful selection. The... More

Just wanted to try some places around our new home (just moved). The waitress was very nice in telling me about all the different beers they offered. The manger came over to welcome us to the neighborhood. The Pork belly Tacos were awesome, though my fish and chips tasted like they came from Cisco. The apple pie was very good,... More

Decisions, decisions, so many choices! Found it behind our hotel garden and so happy we did! The selection of beer is amazing! Try the burger or the prime rib sandwich, really great on their roll. Local IPA's all great and really cold! Reasonably priced, friendly staff..can't go wrong.

This is such a cool looking place, looking out over the beautiful mall. Unfortunately while the beer may be good, the food is overpriced and greasy, and the cocktails are unimaginative. There are many great restaurants at Short Pump Town Center--this isn't one.

Great restuarant. Close to the hotel at Innsbruck. The hamburger was enjoyable and the environment was very relaxing.

Staying next door at the Hilton and walked over to meet a business group for dinner. Since it was warm we ate outside. Great choice - beautiful night. We had two servers for our party of 12. Service was fantastic where normally it may be a bit slow. No complaints tonight. Good was delicious and drinks were plentiful. As the... More
