It was breakfast; always a challenge to serve hot. Food was warm, French Toast flavorful, great tasting sausage. My wife’s omelette was okay. Good service, but certainly nothing special.

Stopped here for a late breakfast! The food was great and the service wonderful. We loved the old style diner vibe and the place was full with locals. We would definitely be back.
Didn’t know where to go for breakfast in Front Royal- started to drive downtown and noticed a lot of cars in front of this place. What a treat! Excellent menu items- waitress was wonderful- priced right. I tried the scrapple… reminded me of haggis I...had in Scotland. Would recommend L’Dee’sMore
It's a small place, mostly filled with local customers. We were travelling and wanted a quick breakfast, and this fit the bill just fine. Nothing special, but good service and a decent breakfast. If you happen to like scrapple, they have it here. My advice...get...anything else, but skip the scrapple.More
We stopped by for breakfast on a Labor Day weekend on our way into Shenandoah Valley National Park. Our waitress was friendly, fast, and unphased by my son’s food allergies—she said one of the cook’s has a food allergy child herself and was well aware...of ingredients and the need to cook his meal in a separate skillet. I didn’t even need to ask! The food was great, and the atmosphere was casual, clean, and relaxing. I think the restroom was very recently remodeled. It’s cash only, so come prepared, and be sure to leave a nice tip!More
Great breakfast!!! Was really full of people. Great service from servers & front staff. I enjoyed my breakfast. Would definitely return.
Based on the reviews we went and ordered pancakes to go. We ordered two sets of three blueberry pancakes and one set of three chocolate chip pancakes. The pancakes were bland with no taste and there appeared to be Maine blueberries inside which is the...cheapest kind you can buy. There was a small amount of blueberries in the pancakes as well, picture shown above. The texture of the pancakes was also off. The pancakes were small and weren't even half the takeout container, pictures are shown above. This is June, blueberries are in season and if they are Maine blueberries there is no excuse for that. It is just cheap, substandard ingredients. The batter that is used for the pancakes is terrible. All of these positive reviews are the reasons why we stopped here. This place is called a pancake house and this is what we were served. You can believe all the positive reviews that are extremely questionable or you can believe somebody that passed through town that has no roots here and is not loyal to the area. They should be ashamed of themselves. Never, ever again. We were also overcharged by $3, according to the menu.More
L Dee's is amazing! Small diner that locals love. great food, can be busy with a little wait, but well worth it!
Wonderful food and service. We enjoyed breakfast here. The service is amazingly fast and friendly. Do note they don't take credit cards. Homemade recipes
We ate here after a family visit to Skyline Caverns. All 4 adults and a 3 year old were thrilled with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. Homemade crust on my asparagus quiche was wonderful. Indulged in grits, equally delicious....Daughter-in-law's "chunky monkey" pancakes had, she said, the perfect ripeness of bananas and wonderful chocolate. Son's meatloaf special sandwich satisfied a notoriously picky eater and my husband all but licked the plate of his French toast special with sausages and bacon that could not have been better. And while our grandson has never met a grilled cheese sandwich he didn't like, we all agreed the toasting made for a lovely sandwich. In short, this is the kind of comfortable food one looks for in a diner and doesn't always get. If you have a trip to the area, this is a place worth visiting.More

My wife and I were looking for a place for breakfast that would have options for our two younger kids who are very picky eaters. L Dee's had a perfect menu for them. Our meal was amazing and do was the service. When we come...back this way again we will be eating here again.More
As good as it gets! Located right in the historic district. Do yourself a favor and get the link sausage! I have to say the friendly service was enough to bring us back.
