Castiglia’s was established by Victor Castiglia in 1987 and has been family owned and operated ever since. Our goal is to serve each of our costumers like a family member; we only serve the finest food prepared with authentic ingredients at an affordable price. We hope you enjoy our food and we are looking forward to serving you. There is also a new one that just opened in Strasburg.

Still a favorite spot!

We have been coming to Castiglia's ever since it opened. However, was delighted with their updated menu that expands the lunch offerings. I had chicken piccata (one of my all-time favorite dishes) and it was outstanding! The lunch portion was HUGE and came with a salad and garlic bread. Brought a lot of the piccata home, and it's enough for 2 more meals!! My husband enjoyed the spaghetti with meat sauce too, and he also brought home enough for 2 more meals. The lunch specials at Castiglia's can't be beat, and it continues to be one of our "go-to" restaurants in Front Royal.

Delicious & Beautiful Wedding Rehearsal Dinner

We hosted my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Castiglia's in their newly renovated dining room. We looked at several other options in Front Royal, but Castiglia's had the most crowd-pleasing menu at the most affordable prices. Natasha made the entire experience so pleasant. She met with me before to go over the menu options and wine choices. She is knowledgeable and detail oriented, very organized. I knew I was in good hands and didn't have to worry about a thing. She made our event feel so special. Even with a group as large as ours, about 40 people, the servers gave everyone individualized attention. And the food! Gino's kitchen prepared delicious, generous portions of chicken parm, vodka penne, manicotti and chicken marsala. We had salad, appetizers, and dessert all excellent. Our rehearsal dinner guests raved about the tiramisu. Castiglia's also happily made special order menu items for our GF friends. Excellent, personalized service and a great value. Castiglia's is a warm, family-friendly, place to host a special event in Front Royal.

A renovated delight!!

We have been enjoying Castiglia's for many, many years. It's a family favorite. But want everyone to know that they have totally expanded, renovated, redecorated the restaurant, updated the menu and it's at a whole new level now, to include full bar service. Their lunch portions of pasta are HUGE and one of the best values ever (you will most likely bring enough home for one or two more meals). We also love their subs and stromboli (which are HUGE!). The servers are friendly, service is speedy, and if you're in the area you will definitely want to stop in. They also now have the capability to handle larger groups. Carry out and delivery are available. Way to go Castiglia's!!!!!

absolute crap, an insult to Italians

how many times do you have to tell a place "pizza well done"? Dont know yet from Castiglias, How much mayo comes on an italian sub with no mayo? All of it. No tomatos, all of them. Any order that is not as the menu states is messed up. Has been this way for years. Always, I'ma sorry, Italian accent added, Sorry to all the people that think this place is great, maybe if you dine in and can send it back hot, we have to pick up and drive 5 miles up a mountain to eat, and its always messed up, the drivers are really nice, and I guess they have to apologize a good bunch!! Drivers get 2 thumbs up, for having to deal with the stores mistakes The store, no thanks, if you want crap pizza try Foxes or Castiglias, if you want GREAT pizza try Anthonies on N Royal St.

Barely "Just OK"

While in the area, we decided to stop in here for dinner and to meet up with old friends. The staff was decent, not overly friendly, but not rude. The place looked like a typical pizza joint with worn décor. The menu is typical of many pizza/pasta places as well. They have wine and beer. Salad was just a mix of very basic greens (ice berg) and white onions, as well as a couple black olives. The waitress said they don’t make any dressings in-house, so it came with basic bottled dressing. Arrabiatta had a decent sauce, the bacon in it was diced perfectly. The pasta that it came with was ay over-cooked and nearly falling apart, so it gave a poor texture to the dish. The bread that accompanied was stale and dry, but did have a slight garlic flavor. Nothing special… But the pizzas we saw coming out did look decent.

Good pizza, terrible customer service

We had seen the reviews for Castiglia’s in Strasburg, so we thought we’d try the Front Royal location, which was more convenient to us. We wished we had walked out. We just wanted a pizza to go, and the woman taking our order could hardly have been more rude to us. She belittled us as we tried to order from the board, which she said had been there for more than a year and that we should be ordering from the paper menu. She didn’t seem to care about getting our business. I have to say that the crust on the white pizza was very good, though we could taste that the broccoli had been frozen. But we definitely would not go back.

I’ve been going here for over

I’ve been going here for over 25 years or more. Even though it’s an hour from where I live I often find myself out in the front Royal area and if it is at all close to meal time I try to visit. Today I was there around lunchtime and opted for a cheesesteak sub. It was packed with meat and the french fries were outstanding as well. Truly one of the better cheesesteaks I can remember. For $8.99 it included the french fries and a drink. Rebecca was my server and she could not have been any more friendly or efficient. This place will never let you down and that’s why it’s been around so long.

New “Go To” Restaurant

My husband and I dined here for the first time after hearing many great things about the owners and the food. We were very impressed with the portion sizes and the value. The owners take great pride in taking care of the customers and it shows. This is a gem in the Front Royal area.

We love the place!

Absolutely wonderful place! The food is delicious, the portions are very well served and the staff is so friendly and kind! And the price is fair too! :D I strongly recommend to anyone looking for a good Italian restaurant in the Valley. They also have a second restaurant in Strasburg - VA. Same quality. Their steak calzone is simply delicious!

Superb at Each Visit

Stopped to try one of their pizzas as I usually get a steak n cheese. The pizza is fantastic! Its crust is chewy and delicious. The sauce is perfect and the cheese is piled on heavy and delicious.

Best Authentic Italian Food

A hidden gem. Meatballs to make you scream Mamma Mia! Gnocchi with pesto sauce with a true Italian flavor. Great garlic bread and everything we had was delightful.

After a day of riding the motorcycle in the rain, we decided to order delivery while staying in Front Royal hotel. We decided on Italian, and are glad we chose Castiglia's! The food was delicious and we were shocked to see how much food was delivered. We each had a salad and two pieces of garlic bread in addition to our dinners of eggplant parmesan and manicotti. Portions were very large and food was great! Highly recommend!

Great Pizza!
