Stopped at other restaurant that was closing and was told to try here. So glad we did. The food was incredible. The service was great. The prices reasonable. Loved it. Definitely want to go back.

Couldn't believe all the food you got. With the family style 4 different meats & lots of sides. Everything was delicious !! Good service ! While we were there, went back a couple of times, had separate entrees, also very good !

Passed by for several years promising ourselves we would stop the next time. Today was the next time finally. Delightful restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. You can order family style or from the menu. I ordered the meatloaf, pintos and slaw and my husband ordered spicy catfish, pintos and slaw. These were served fairly quickly as there were quite a... They serve family style and it was great for our crowd of 15. Service could of been a little more attentive. We enjoyed our visit and the fried chicken was great! They have a cute little bar for an adult refreshment!

Birthdays and special days in our family often include that trip to Pine Tavern. Everyone's food cravings are filled to the brim as we pass the meat and vegetable dishes around the table. Dish almost empty???? Don't worry, with prompt and friendly service, you will find it magically filled with hot and tasty food like roast beef, ham or chicken....and... More

We both ordered fried chicken which was very good came with two sides more food than you can eat. We spoke with owner who was a delightful person about the pavilion that's available for weddings, parties, etc. Big space for a lot of people.

Family style food, much like you get at the Homeplace. We actually prefer the barbecue and fried chicken at the Pine Tavern! Nice atmosphere, and a good drive with scenery. Desserts are good; try the chocolate cobbler.

Planned a visit to the restaurant as we had visited several time before for their family style dinner. Food was always good as well as service. This time - they were off their mark. Chicken was DARK brown to black from over cooking or sitting in a warming drawer too long. We asked for more and was quickly brought another... More

First the good....loved the setting and the family style concept. Veggies, bread, salad and dessert all good. Family style concept allows for refills so you won't leave hungry. Service was effecient and friendly. Now the not so good....the meats. The fried chicken was not especially good, although we ate it. Can't say the same for the roast beef. As soon... More

We ate there twice, same server: first time, very slow; second time: no complaints about her service! Food was excellent.
