We had this meal delivered. Everything was fantastic and arrived quickly and hot. The butter, wine, and garlic sauce with the shrimp appetizer was rich and balanced and called called for the warm rolls to soak it up. My wife's seafood linguini had more seafood...than noodles and was flavorful. The flounder Française was so good...the filets were perfectly cooked, the sauce made even the vegetables taste incredible, and the mashed potatoes were on-point. Will definitely visit and/or order from here again.More

I went to this restaurant tonight .. WOW! Food was simply amazing .. tasty .. mouthwatering Italian/Mediterranean... from the starters to the mains .. delicious.. fast and pleasant service.. I’d come back again for sure
Reservation made easily w/opentable. Reserved table available a few minutes early. Ordered the merguez (excellent) and caesar salad (avg) for apps. Entrees were all excellent: chicken piccata, beef bourguignon, and flounder francaise. Fun and relaxed atmosphere. Service was ok; secondary waiter was more attentive than...starting waiter. Desserts were great too (chocolate mousse cake and key lime tart). Will definitely return. Great place for date night, out of town guests, and special occasions.More

My husband & I met 4 friends for dinner. None of us had been here before & are very glad we found it. The food was excellent as well as the service. We sat inside. The tables are socially distanced & with clear dividers between...them. There were lots of good entree choices. I had the crab cake with the mushroom ravioli. For dessert - shared the key lime pie with my husband. The bottles of wine were at half price which was a great value. Another item we all appreciated was the quiet ambience. It was so easy to talk to one another. This is a neighborhood gem!!More

An older restaurant with furnishings that provide a quiet ambiance that enables subdued conversation. A restrained menu that provides selections for most palettes. A similar wine list but one is able to match wines with courses by the glass or bottle. Service is discrete and...friendly with informed suggestions for food and wine matching. All food is prepared on premises so has fresh and original flavours. I asked for my steak to be rare and was delighted to find it perfectly cooked as requested. A very pleasant evening with my wife to celebrate.More
Went to an excellent lunch with m son (celebrating an adult birthday) and 2 old friends. Started with nice bread sticks (with oil and balsamic) and then we had the shrimp bisque (very good); shrimp ajo (also excellent); and main courses were the lamb burger...(moist with great fries); mushroom ravioli (outstanding); and chicken picatta (also very good) and finished with 4 desserts--all outstanding (cheesecake; banana cream pie; key lime pie; and tiramisu). In a word, our meal/evening was perfect! Idylwood Grill is a restaurant my wife and have frequented over the past 10 years or more. It is a quaint space with a great menu and a relaxed atmosphere. The seafood linguini is a “go to” favorite,...but I think I tried their Filet Mignon au poivre that was FABULOUS! I think I reserved another restaurant for my French Steak Frite, but I’m so glad I had Idylwood’s! My wife and I were BOTH saying we thought about how good it was today during our workdays. If you’re looking for a nice place to have a relaxed conversation with your spouse and/or your best friend over great food and drink, this is a place you must try. You’ll be glad you did!More
Our group of 20+ tries to get together the last Wednesday of every month. In August we chose Idylwood Grill. We ordered from the days menu, and most of the dishes were ordered by one member or another. Everybody was satisfied with their meal. I...my take other friends there later.More
This is an exceptional restaurant and wine bar. It offers excellent food and very reasonable prices. The wait staff is superb and very accommodating. The cook is exceptional and this has become one of our favorite restaurants.
Service was exceptional. Food was superb. Same great atmosphere -- a little eclectic and very nice background music. We will be back!
