Service was a bit slow, and the server brought the wrong wine on his first attempt, but it was Cinco de Mayo so I give a little credit for that. The food was delicious.

First, the mango margarita had real chunks in it and was fantastic! We went early on a Friday about 5:30 and got seated and greeted and served immediately. The place is in an old street motel and the inside shows it. However, the chef tempts...More

I really liked this place. It's small and quaint and the food is really good. We shared 2 appetizers, which were both good. The Yucca tastes like French fries you dip them in a Dijon mayo sauce. Yum. I don't know the name of our...More

Don't let the location fool you or steer you elsewhere! We enjoyed great Latin food and one of the best margaritas I've had in awhile. The smokey black beans are delicious and the service is great.

The place seemed disorganized. We arrived right on time for our 6:30 reservation for 2. We told the hostess that we had reservations. She told us she would be right back during which time two ladies came in behind us. When the hostess came back...More

Boy what a great meal. I ate so much I was stuffed like I have not been in several years, and that was all from an appetizer and an entree. We did not even consider dessert. The house margaritas are excellent, and really everything we...More

This place is outstanding! As for Arepas, I prefer JP'S Favorite, Peluda, and Carne Mechada in that order. The Fried Yuca was awesome. I tried my nephew's Pabellon Criolla and my niece's Pabellon Caballo, both delicious as ever. The Las Vegas Margarita makes you wanting...More

I've read so many reviews that suggest a visit to La Caraquena is a kind of high risk, high reward type of thing that, after having dined there this weekend, decided to file my own review. I'd wanted to check out La Caraquena since I...More

As others have said, don't let the location fool you -- this restaurant is tucked inside a "not so hot" motel. It's very small so I'm guessing they can get very crowded at peak times. I was there on a Sunday evening with a group...More

Delicious food and very friendly staff! All kinds of arepas and other Venezuelan dishes. Don't be put off by its location tucked in to the first floor of a small motel. Yes, Guy Fieri has been here - don't be put off by that either!

Absolutely NOT! Average dinners might be about $25. Including an entree and nice drink! So, it's very reasonable. Hope you enjoy. Kathleen
