This is a small restaurant located at the corner of a small, nondescript motel in Falls Church so it's easy to miss. I'm guessing that the name comes from Caracas so it must be Venezuelan cuisine, not to be mistaken with Mexican food! From their limited menue, they offer interesting salads and main courses with unfamiliar names but the description... More

After watching Drive-Ins, Diners, & Dives with Guy Fieri on TV, we just had to try this restaurant when visiting family in VA. It was unusual but the Venezuelean food was awesome. We all enjoyed the various arepas & all entrees were delicious. Only downside - 6 of us were seated at 2 tables which usually would fit 4 people.... More

Looking for delicious food, authentic Latin arepas and wonderful sides --beans & rice, yucca, shredded cabbage salads and amazing margeritas -- this is the place. This was my third visit and food here is always terrific. It's not the same old same old. It's delicious, interesting and fun. There's outdoor seating with umbrellas for an al fresco experience! The arepas... More

Service was a bit slow, and the server brought the wrong wine on his first attempt, but it was Cinco de Mayo so I give a little credit for that. The food was delicious.

First, the mango margarita had real chunks in it and was fantastic! We went early on a Friday about 5:30 and got seated and greeted and served immediately. The place is in an old street motel and the inside shows it. However, the chef tempts the palate with delicious tastes such as sautéed plantains with unique flavors. My husband had... More

I really liked this place. It's small and quaint and the food is really good. We shared 2 appetizers, which were both good. The Yucca tastes like French fries you dip them in a Dijon mayo sauce. Yum. I don't know the name of our entree, but it had rice, pulled pork, avocado, plantain and egg. The pepper sauce served... More

Don't let the location fool you or steer you elsewhere! We enjoyed great Latin food and one of the best margaritas I've had in awhile. The smokey black beans are delicious and the service is great.

The place seemed disorganized. We arrived right on time for our 6:30 reservation for 2. We told the hostess that we had reservations. She told us she would be right back during which time two ladies came in behind us. When the hostess came back she asked us again if we had reservations then immediately the two women behind us... Boy what a great meal. I ate so much I was stuffed like I have not been in several years, and that was all from an appetizer and an entree. We did not even consider dessert. The house margaritas are excellent, and really everything we tried was wonderful. While I may not stay at the motel, any of the reviews... More
