If you prefer slightly smaller than average but very refined food over large quantities of mediocre quality, this is the place for you. It's hard to find a place with the calamari soft and not chewy and this is such a place. Sauces were also done to perfection. Good place to take your visitors to impress them with a culinary... We've enjoyed both lunch and dinner at this tiny jewel. Superior cooking, beautiful presentation, outstanding service, intimate atmosphere. Food is prepared with an artist's touch. Flavors are sophisticated. This is not a pasta and red sauce Italian restaurant. Come prepared to spend a little time and money exploring a menu that holds some delicious surprises.

This is truly five star cuisine. It is authentic northern Italian cooking with top ingredients. We have traveled the world - especially Europe - and still we compare everything against Villa Mozart and nothing has surpassed the quality and consistency of the food. One of the specialties of the house is the risotto and no chef yet has made such... More

We had a great lunch! Food was excellent and the service at the table was very good. I cannot give them a 5 rating because they were negligent or worse in handling the reservation. The BIG PROBLEM was that we made a reservation for 8 and we were promised the private room as you enter on the right. They did... More

My husband and I make an effort to come here at least once during each season, and we're never disappointed. On our recent visit this we decided to stick to the specials. We started with a delightful watermelon martini - lush, frothy, and refreshing--perfect for a muggy August evening. The heirloom tomato with shaved cheese starter was simple in its... More

We can't imagine why anyone would rate this restaurant anything but 5 star. I guess the DC area has it's share of know-it-alls who think the world is a perfect place created just for them to savor every experience to their individual expectations. For a very experienced traveler who has had a lifetime of good-better-best experiences, Villa Mozart ranks up... More

Attracted by positive reviews, we went to this restaurant for a special occasion. They did NOT acknowledge the occasion at all. We were shown to our table which had one dirty wine glass on it. When we gave it back to the waiter he examined it carefully to make sure we were not lying. Waited for 15 minutes (we timed... More

I am never disappointed by Villa Mozart and always look forward to my visits there. The food is always creative, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. The ambiance is elegant without it being stuffy. It is a small and charming place. Thank you for being close by so we do not have to travel to... More

Although not regulars at the restaurant, this was perhaps our 5th time in two years and each time we have been seated in the same seat. We are used to a bit more attentiveness for the price that we paid for the food and wine. While the service was NOT impressive, the filled pasta was a winner. The parsley soup... More
