When I arrived (around 11:30am) the place was nearly empty. I was seated indoors in a booth to myself and promptly served a Dos Equis beer and Tilapia Wrap with guacamole. The complimentary chips were totally non-greasy and crisp (great) but the salsa was spice-less and thin until my waitress brought some hot sauce to perk things up. The Wrap... More

Lovely day to sit outside at Coyote Grill. They had opened the outdoor walls. Fresh food, decent service. Love the chips and salsa!

One of our favorite places! You have to try the red pepper soup it's amazing! The owner is one of the nicest ladies in the world and always makes you feel so welcome. If you haven't been, you must go!

My first visit to Coyote Grill was very enjoyable. We had a large group that arrived over a period of time. The staff were very flexible in seating us and serving as well. Good food good times with friends.

I live in Tennessee, but have eaten here twice when visiting friends in the area. My friend says she could eat here every night and she is an excellent cook! My Tucson Salad was far better than a typical taco salad and you can eat the "dish" which is a crispy shell!

Nice little restaurant in a strip mall right on Main Street in Fairfax. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and excellent service. For starters we ordered Fish Sticks and Taquitos. Fish Sticks were excellent but Tacquitos were slightly soggy. I prefer more on the crunchy side. For main entree we ordered Chicken Fajitas and Seafood Enchiladas. Both were excellent... More

As the location is in a strip mall, I was automatically giving it a mental downgrade. Inside is fine - your regular pub look of wooden booth and tables. They have an outside patio that is encased in plastic with heaters. All very average looking, so I was surprised that the food was good. The three fish tacos were fresh... More

Bland tasting food. Margarita tasted like it came out of a bottle mix. Chicken in the chicken fajita was dry and not appetizing. While the ambiance is not bad, it is a noisy place and cramped. Waiters are constantly bumping into each other and into chairs. Service is poor. They seem to be understaffed. Also you cannot tell who is... More

I forget about this place for lunch, but glad I went with a co-worker. While the main course is good, I really enjoy their chips and salsa! Good service.

Almost every time I'm in Fairfax I go to the Coyote Grill -- usually for lunch or brunch -- and I've never been disappointed. A small, casual place (a little roomier on the covered patio), the staff is always friendly, and the food is delicious. Great options for brunch. I always mix it up & try different items, but my...
