My friend and I sat under the big tent for a great lunch! I had the sirloin steak and my friend had a salmon dish. The service was very good! I have eaten many times here and never been disappointed! I recommend it!
Had a gift card to use so decided to try Ozzies on a Monday night. Nice ambiance and only using every other table. However, restaurant wants you to scan for their menu. I don’t want to look at a menu on my phone when I...am going to a nice restaurant. Hostess did bring us paper menus but seem put out by it. The food was exceptional. We had Hanger steaks and crab cakes. But they charge for the bread, Ozzies rolls, and the price for a glass of wine was ridiculous (15 and 12 dollars). I could have bought the whole bottle for that price. Dinner for three with two glasses of wine, one beer, Ozzie rolls, 2 hangar steaks, 1 crab cakes and tiramisu came to $127 dollars. How do normal people afford this? I know that restaurants are hurting but to jack up wine prices and charge for bread is ridiculous. We barely saw our waitress after ordering. She didn’t even offer to box the left over rolls we paid for.More
Another 5 star option from the Great American Restaurants. As with their other locations, the core menu of Ozzie's is quite similar. This restaurant, however, has options with an Italian flair.
For those seeking to social distance and dine al fresco, Ozzie's has...commandeered a large portion of the side street to create a delightful outdoor eating experience. And ... you can specifically reserve an outdoor spot via RESY.
Regarding the menu, several very tasty items to choose from. The family members with me enjoyed the Wood Grilled Hanger Steak (which was cooked to perfection) and Linguini & Shrimp Fra Diavolo.
I was looking for something a bit simpler, so I went with the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich ... and I was quite pleased with my selection. The chicken was lightly breaded and very tender ... dressed well with lettuce, mayo, and mustard. Yum!
As always, the wait staff was very professional and courteous. And the restaurant followed COVID guidelines by wearing masks and distancing all tables.
A return is imminent!More
While out running errands in Fairfax late Saturday afternoon,my husband and I decided to find a spot for dinner before heading home. A bit challenging with limited seating due to COVID restrictions. Most restaurants in the area direct patrons to make online reservations via the...Resy app. While there were 1+ hour wait times for most, we were able to reserve a high top table for 2 indoors at Ozzies within 15 mins. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated in the bar area, which was fine for us. After months of cooking, carry out and delivery, it was nice to dine out, even with distancing and mask requirements in place. We scanned the QR card to view the menu on our phones then placed our order. Service was efficient and friendly and all servers wore face masks. Ozzie rolls were such a tasty indulgence with the honey butter that we requested a second (served 4 per order). My salmon fillet had a fabulous smoky grilled flavor, complemented by mashed potatoes and nicely seasoned spinach. Hubby’s crab cakes were loaded with crab meat and served with fries and a delicious slaw. Glad we searched and found this spot instead of settling for fast food!More
This is an overpriced, nothing special restaurant. Save your money for elsewhere. There are other places with more ambiance, better food and better portions in the NOVA and DC areas. The burgers are completely salty. I do not recommend this restaurant as it is just...a money pit novelty.More
