Relaxed casual outdoor seafood dining. Waiter was very attentive and friendly. Crab cakes dinner was very good. Two very large crab cakes with lots of crabmeat and my husband had soft shell crabs which were also good. It is a bit hard to find this restaurant. It is located thru a residential development with two large stone pillars "Potomac ..."... More

Was part of a group here today. Appears management did not plan for our arrival. But, the meals were really good. The fish tacos, fish, hush puppies, baked beans were all great. Food a little pricey, and portions small. Enjoyed my meal. Staff here worked hard today.

Atmosphere is great, love the come as you are feel. However... if you want a drink from the bar good luck you better a regular because thats the only ones they want to serve if not your going to wait. I waited close to 30 minutes to watch the young lady pour a splash of rum and fill the rest... More

We visited on a Sunday night during their annual Labor Day Waterstock. The place was mobbed. High energy. Good bands. Lots of people. It wasn't the time for a quiet dinner, but even so, it was a fun environment. They ran out of crabs just before we ordered (no problem, they were crazy busy) and the waiter suggested a return... Sometimes the drive to the shore is just not worth the squeeze! When you are in the mood for Blue Crabs and Seafood, take a cruise to Dumfries, off the beaten path to a honkey tonk on the Potomac Shores! You can be rewarded with some of the best crabs in less time than it takes you to traverse the... More

I have been going to Tim's for many years. It is on the water with a boat dock. Come as you are. Extremely casual. The crabs are delicious. The crab dip is some f the best I have ever eaten. It's a fun place to spend the afternoon and/or evening eating crabs or other seafoods they specialize in.

The outdoor seating area is large and the views are nice. It is right on the water with boat docks, seating for dining, stages for bands, outdoor bars and a beach area. I go down there mainly for drinks and people watching. The food is not that good and more expensive than it should be. The crab dip is ok.... More

I took my 88 year old great grandmother and we had a blast. The only thing I didn't like was that it had a funny smell towards the end of dinner. If you go down to the shore wear bug spray. Also drive safely on the road, it has lots of curves.

The family was gathered in Quantico for my son's graduation from OCS - US Marine Corp. We chose Tim's as it has great seafood right on the river. They do not take reservations. There was nine of us there for lunch and we were seated right away. Devonte was our server and he took great care of us. This is... More

We found tim's coming down on the VRE 25 years ago. We move away 20 years ago but come back every year or so. Its been a few years since our last visit but let me say very disappointed. Its become over price, long delays and the two kitchens dont work together and the order was screwed up. Clearly they... More
