Nice place to meet friends, read a newspaper or check your emails while enjoying a delicious ice cream cone or cup and great baked goods. Friendly service, cozy and clean. Sprinkles anyone?

Friendly owner, great coffee, and food alike. It's a nice place to rest for a bit and recharge. Always great to support a local business that earns it!

Location is nice, across the street from the farmers market. Most of the time it's hard to park on the street in front of the business but there's always parking across the street at the farmers market. My wife and I meet here some mornings for coffee and sometimes for lunch. The owner is always friendly and greets us with... More

This is a nice spot in the River District. They have good sandwiches and coffee, as well as soup (bread bowls in the colder months) and ice cream in the summer.

We Googled restaurants in Danville as we were passing through on our way to North Carolina. We selected this coffee shop based on the tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. We both selected the soup and 1/2 sandwich.Turkey chili was yummy as were the roast beef and chicken salad sammies. Owner was jovial and waitstaff courteous. What more could you... More

I had the Davis Wrap with a side of potato salad. The wrap was a large serving and I had to take half of it home. It was excellent! Being a vegetarian makes it difficult to find good sandwiches or wraps, but not at Brewed Awakening. The potato salad was also excellent and tasted freshly made. The service was great... More

I had half a sandwich and soup on a chilly, rainy day. The restaurant is not cozy, but there were enough customers to give it a warm feeling. The food was substantial and quite good. I bought a delicious chocolate chunk cookie to go. The coffee shop/café is located across from the farmers' market and is a nice place to... More

This is a developing part of Danville, that really needs businesses like this. The area is full of new people, renovated old factories into condos. The people are hear, and they will need these places. The coffee is very good, lots of choices, well done. Some snacks and meals round out the offering. Has lots of seating, inside and out.... More
