Was not our first choice for tonight, but first and second were closed...their loss! We were quite pleased with the fire-grilled seafood, freshness you could see in the case. The bar was comfortable and had good happy hour specials until our table was ready. Staff attentive and friendly, team approach. Happy with everything

Each year we come to Culpepper to do a little holiday shopping. We start by have lunch and a few cocktails here. The atmosphere is friendly and the food and drinks are great. We will be back again next season (if not sooner!)

When we want to get out, its nice for the family. They have items for everyone, including the kids, who would not go home hungry... Friendly staff and feel welcome... Food always has great flavoring, and price in reason...

I had experienced It's About Thyme restaurant a couple of times and liked very much. When booking our reservation with The Copper Fish I was looking forward to a Seafood version of it but to no avail. Although the server and managers were both friendly we were disappointed by the food quality and presentation. The seafood soup was over loaded... More

While vacationing in Gordonsville VA, my wife and I took a side trip to Culpeper. After an internet search, we decided to try the Copper Fish for lunch. My wife had grilled salmon over salad. I had the (gently) fried oysters with a Caesar Salad. We were very happy with our choices and the service by Krystal & Shastri was... More

Very friendly reasonably priced food. Lovely fresh fish with a wet bar. Friendly staff. Quite informal. Football was showing if you like that kind of thing.

This is a great restaurant. Lots of seafood, but also non-seafood items. The food was very fresh and well prepared. A fun place to eat in charming Culpeper, Virginia

Culpeper has some nice restaurants. The Copper Fish is one of them, for sure. It is located in the heart of town and surrounded by boutique stores and restaurants. We went on "Double Appetizer Tuesday" where you get two for the price of one. We really liked the fired oysters as one of our choices. For the main course we... More

Got there for happy hour. Good oysters and wine for a reasonable price. Everyone was friendly and it was well lit and clean.
