Just had a great lunch at the Mockingbird Cafe. The pimento cheese sandwich was toasted to perfection. Portions are generous and the cafe is charming with fresh herbs everywhere.

My daughter and I stopped for breakfast and I got the French toast and she had a bagel breakfast sandwich with just the egg and cheese. We also ordered some croissants to go and a ginger cookie and an eclair (10 hour car ride looming). Breakfast was really good. The hot cocoa was clearly not Swiss miss, and I really... More

Love the atmosphere in this quaint café. It is always pretty busy but you can still visit and enjoy your meal. The food is absolutely amazing!

We visited for breakfast recently. The decor is so bright and cheerful, and the food was delicious. We each got breakfast sandwiches and they were so good. The desserts looked wonderful but we did not try any. I will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed a quick lunch while in town for a swim meet. My daughter had the chicken salad croissant and I had the jerk pork on a moonshine roll. The sandwiches were reasonably priced, large portions, served with a bag a chips, and the bread was so fresh and tasty! Shared a delicious chocolate chip cookie sandwich too and were stuffed!

This is such a cute, quant little café of a gem. Its off the beaten path and has that hometown warm feeling when you walk in. You are greeted by warm smiling faces who are happy to help you. The services is very pleasant and the uni-sex bathroom is just SO adorable!! I love how they decorated it. The food... More

Food was so delicious and the cookies were amazing! They even brought out a container of water for my dog outside! The employees are very sweet! Can't wait to go back!

We stopped here for lunch. I had the Reuben which I thought was done well. The rye bread did not overwhelm and had a nice texture (not heavy). The meat had excellent flavor blended with just the right amount of kraut. My wife had a muffalatta. She thought it was excellent. We finished up with a wonderful peanut butter cookie... More

Was lucky enough to arrive in time to get the special, shrimp and grits; was a delicious bowl of creamy grits and had the right amount of shrimp. Taste was pleasantly lemony citrusy, not salty buttery so be prepared. Good consistency. Had a muffin for dessert that was also very tasty. Nice quaint atmosphere inside although it is small but... Interesting choices of sandwiches - seems all would be delicious. We did a Cuban and a Rueben. Hope to stop in again for the Buffaloto. We took out some sweets with us and they were good. The sandwiches were stacked and very tasty. Thanks.
