We went on the recommendation of Barnical Bill wild ponies boat tour. He was spot on about the food being great, fresh and the crabcakes were to die for. The crap dip was outstanding! You get your monies worth and you won't leave hungry and most likely will need a carry out box. Call early and get your reservations in,... More

Great ambiance with good food. The plates were large and we did not manage to eat it all. The lady in the bar was amazing with the kids and they got to eat at the bar. She was so friendly.

We always go to the village for the fried flounder, it is the best. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is family friendly and accomodating.

Flounder was over cook. Maimai was also over cook. Good service. Second time we were there, first time was much better. Will try it again next.

Two of us went to this restaurant on a Thursday night. It is only open for dinner. The broiled seafood dinner was great! Had a little bit of everything and the price was comparable to other restaurants with similar meals. My friend and I had never had oysters so we ordered friend oysters for an appetizer. Delicious! Looking forward to... More

We all enjoyed this restaurant in Chincoteague. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The Italian entrees were greatly enjoyed by two of our group (healthy red sauce). I liked the flounder stuffed with crab meat. Service was also excellent and the setting was spacious and attractive. This was a nice surprise!

One of the better restaurants on the island. Not a huge fan of the food on the island though, Generally bland. I love cooking when I come here.

We had dinner here our second night. I had the broiled seafood platter and substituted the crab Imperial for a crabcake. I had to send the oysters back because they were under cooked and were not open. I felt that this meal was just average. I ordered the same meal at bills prime and felt it was superior to this... Was recommended as a good option for seafood on the island (on the assateague side), but was just meh. Pretty generic inside and decor (We sat in a small room right near hostess stand. the place seemed huge so maybe there we better spots). Pretty generic menu options overall. That said, crab dip app was good, and flounder, shrimp and... More

Been going to Chincoteague for years and had never tried the Village before the front desk attendant at our motel recommended it. We made reservations for a Friday evening visit and when we got there we got right to our table. Our server was awesome (wish I could remember her name)... She checked on us often and was great with... More
