Food is ok, service was slow but they were busy... Today is the annual pony swim so the town is FULL of tourists like ourselves. Prices aren't bad and seating was adequate. A/C didn't seem to be all that cool to me.

Our first night on the island and hotel directed us to a restaurant that was going to be over $100 for our family of four. So we drove around and found Mr Baldy's. The food was good and very reasonably price. The waitress was very friendly and the food came out quickly.

went on a rainy day since most eateries are outside seating. Large portions but not local seafood. prepared well, fresh and with a smile. Great conversations with locals

The food was ok.. Until my dad ordered the fish and chips. Being along the ocean, one would expect some great fish.. What he got was 3 triangle fish sticks straight out of the Capt. Highliner's box.

French toast made with regular sliced bread had supposedly fresh blueberries on top, but they were tough, hard and bitter - could not eat them. Eggs and toast were fine. I think the hash browns are deep fried pieces of potatoes and not regular hash browns. Grits were just so-so. The place is always packed so we thought it would... More

We stopped in to Mr. Baldy's while biking around town. Had a BLT and raspberry lemonade. Decent. Husband had a burger. Decent. Friendly staff.

If you are in the market for a basic sit-down breakfast sans golden arches, you may want to try Mr. Baldy's. It is about as "local" as you can get. I had corned beef hash with eggs over medium. The hash was crispy outside and soft inside, and the eggs were cooked just right. The food was hot and served... More

If you're tired of the usual stuff at the hotel, do yourself a favor and grab breakfast at Mr Baldy's. You're treated like a regular and you'll get more food for your money than you can eat...at least for breakfast. Not sure why some people weren't happy....we struck up conversations with both waitresses and some of the customers. $6 got... More

I have been here last year and it was a decent breakfast but a poor dinner choice. On this day we stopped for breakfast there was another customer seated in a booth and she looked annoyed. There was playful like screaming coming from the kitchen and I looked back at the woman seated in the booth. She was annoyed she... More
