Treated like family always

I love.this place. Simple, no nonsense food for breakfast.and brunch. Usually sit at the bar and have an excellent bloody mary w it. Nick normally tends to us and he goes out of his way to make sure we are well taken care of. Sunday staple in both foodnand service.

The Nook has an interesting breakfast menu with more than the usual fare. The Chesapeake eggs were great! Good quality and service.

We visited The Nook this summer. We had a great breakfast and had the chance to sit outside. The food was fresh and hot. The service was wonderful; our waitress was appropriately attentive without being intrusive. The table was in the shade and we were quite comfortable. We were also not rushed, so we could enjoy some people watching before... More

We stopped in for breakfast while downtown. It was quick, cheap and good. I'd go back again. Prices were very reasonable.

My husband and I were in Charlottesville with some friends and decided to walk the mall since we were staying at the Omni Hotel. We found this quaint little restaurant during our walk and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was good. We had hamburgers and fries which were... Restaurant was crowded--so my husband & I took 2 seats at the bar. Our waiter was very pleasant & attentive. Many types of sandwiches, burgers, pasta & salads are available. Breakfast is also served. We had the Ham & Swiss sandwich which was huge.

Food was good lots of options we had breakfast. Issue worst waitress we had in nine days. I was amazed at how unfriendly and disinterested she was we were there on the Friday after thanksgiving sat outside maybe the owner might know I could not be bothered with learning her name but she should have stayed home because she clearly... Enjoyed a lunch here. Family of three generations with diverse demands had a very good lunch here. Of particular note was the pot pie.

Party of 5 (including a peanut allergy and a vegetatian...) seated after a 40 minute wait on a sunday morning ...but no problem because the food came rather quickly! And boy was it more than worth the wait! Rarely does everyone at the table rave about their meal...but that is exactly what happened at The Nook...yummy! Well...maybe i exaggerated a... More
