I ordered the chicken pot pie, one of my favorites, and it did not disappoint in flavor or appearance - a very nice touch. The atmosphere is young and vibrant, the menu is excellent and the service is fast enough.

It is not a pretensious restaurant. Paper napkin e very small cuttellary. The food makes up for it. Very good aspargus salad The fried trout is good and well dressed, however the oil was a bit old. You could taste and smell in your clothes....More

This was the best meal we had in an 8 day trip to D.C./Virginia. Cozy atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food. The white bean soup is not to be missed. Would definitely go back!

Ate here with girlfriends for a girls weekend. Delicious! Loved my omelet and everyone love their food as well. The big hit was also the kouing-amann and none of us knew what this was. We even got extras to takeout to family! A must try!

Food is refreshingly inventive. The menu reflects seasonal produce with nods to comfort food. I love the classic movie posters that adorn the interior walls. Wine list is well appointed and seems to have a little of everything. I prefer full bodied reds and a...More

Opened at 1130 on Saturday, server definitely professional, if you arrive early enough you can get a classic diner booth with high-backed red seats. Soup simple but good, bread plate, roasted vegetables, potatoes/gravy/fried chicken tenderloin all very good. Arrived after noon so had a bottle...More

Hello David (and Grace!)- Thanks for reaching out. We DO tend to buy heavily from the Old World both for the sake of food pairings (we're a French bistro at heart) and for economical purposes. We strive to find wines of... More
