My wife and I dined at this neat luncheon restaurant recently while visiting the area. She had the potatoe soup and enjoyed it and I had the spicey enchilada chicken which was good but not overly spicey-so like 3 on a scale of 20. We also shared a yummy grilled ham and cheese sandwich. I can recommend this nice restaurant... More

I had the special: heirloom tomato sandwich with Duke's mayo on sourdough bread, salt and pepper. Talk about delicious for a basic sandwich. They know what they are doing in there, line out the door and the aroma's of their multitude of soups was amazing.

I went here because of the good reviews. The food was average. The building was run down and dirty. The ice machine was broken. The prices were on the high side. I see no reason to return.

We stepped in on a rainy day to Revolutionary Soup, a little "dive" of a restaurant on one of the side streets of the Downtown Mall. The service is counter service and the menu is rather large - tons of different soups, sandwiches, and salads. The place was constantly busy and you could hear locals in line talking about how... My fiancé and I recently stopped into Revolutionary Soup while exploring downtown Charlottesville. The menu has a great variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches, but this isn't your run-of-the-mill deli. With locally sourced ingredients and a number of vegetarian options, Rev Soup offers up delicious food without breaking the bank. I ordered the Garlic Garden sandwich, which has roasted veggies,... On a rainy day soup seemed appropriate . My tomato basil was very good, but my wife had to go back for more of the Rosemary potato soup . She said it was the best potato soup she had ever eaten. The decor is very basic. No wait staff , just counter service.

Upon entering Revolutionary soup You make for a second recall the Soup nazi's from Jerry Steinfeld's New York. Get in line order Your soup, i've never seen so many different soup's. But the staff are friendly even polite. I wasn't big on the Sengalese Tofu but where else could You find it. One surprise was the shrimp and grits served... More

Came here with my girlfriend food was good, but nothing special. There are better places to eat unless you have a strong desire for soup. If that's the case come here

Went here for lunch and didn't really know what to expect. Always heard good things about it and they were all true. The food is all fresh and delicious. The soups are of course amazing. Highly recommend going if you want some great food for a reasonable price.

Busy place, but the food is always good. You order at the counter than wait for your food. If you see an available table grab it, don't wait for your food. Great options for vegans and people who are health conscious
