We went here for a quick lunch while car shopping, and it was to die for. After living near Ft Bragg (and marrying into a family that takes their Asian cuisine VERY seriously), I've gotten rather picky about my Thai food, and this place delivers!!! The food is amazing and as authentic as it gets. Don't be fooled by the... More

Thai Basil is one of the best Thai places in Fairfax and Loudoun County areas. Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles are my favorite. Beware that Spicy is Spicy but oooo sooo good! Very casual ... sometimes crowed but worth the trip!

We stopped here after a visit to the Air and Space museum. We ordered the Siamese Wraps after reading the recommendation in a review. They were very good. My daughter ordered Pad Thai with pork and I ordered it with chicken. We were getting on the road afterward and didn't want to be too adventurous in case some spice didn't... More

Had to go and try the place that beat Mr Flay at pad Thai. It is very good. Is it the best I've had? The Thai restaurants in Falls Church are better, but this is London county. This is some of the better pad Thai around. The other dishes they offer are also very good. This hidden away Thai restaurant... More

Start your dinner with the Siamese Wrap appetizer---it is a rock star of flavors that burst in your mouth---delicate little wraps with toasted coconut, shrimp, fresh lime, ginger, peanuts, and a savory peanut sauce. Wow. It really got us excited about the rest of our meal when we began with that superstar appetizer. The Pud Thai is good, but be... More

Fantastic Pad Thai! Try the dish that beat Bobby Flay. Pick your level of heat from "American Hot" (pretty mild) to "Laos Hot" ( I'm not that brave). Great appetizers, many menu items to chose from. Portions are huge, we can make 2 meals a from typical dinner sized item. Nong (head chef) is sometimes walking around checking up on... More

Other reviews must have gotten food from the real chef. We went there for a big family gathering, ordered pad thai, thai fried rice, chick fried rice, beef rengdang, shrimp curry. Only the thai fried rice tasted specially good with fresh lump of crab meat. Other dishes were just ok.

We ate here after a day long trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space annex. The food was well prepared and cooked according to your tastes. They have a 4 tier system to spice up your meal with as much or as little heat as you want. I would have liked to have had a little bit more of the... More

I have visited Thai Basil many times mainly to have the Tom Kha Gai soup but everything else I've tried has been excellent too. Food is fresh and you can choose how spicy you want it. The pad thai is delicious, so good that the owner beat Bobby Flay when he came to Thai Basil to film a Pad Thai... More
